Meet Mirna Martinez | CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mirna Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mirna, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I think without realizing something that was just meant to help people like myself, became something that was impactful for everyone. Simply by hearing my Traumatic story, people were Motivated, Inspired, and Encouraged to want more and do more. (A girl from the streets that made it out of the hood with a traumatic story, and became a successful CEO that now is helping her jente elevate!) That’s why I became a motivational speaker that now goes out to schools, woman empowerment conferences and even leadership corporate workshops. I Started creating these networking events mix with the carshow seen that are free to the public to help people get connected in anything that they might need to reach that next level in life. You see were all worth more than what we think. Society creates this concept of 4 walls that keeps us from seeing more than where we are. It’s scary to believe that many will stay there and never know what was on the other side. I have a vision of using my story as key to open doors. That is what truly makes me happy! Helping other succeed, if you win I win! (Me Entiendes)
That’s my purpose in life helping others and connecting them to things that they would never have access to alone. I get it some don’t want change and refuse it. But it isn’t about us, it’s about the generations to come and the legacies that were leaving behind for them in order to succeed.
I have 5 businesses in the male industry, and they all have a purpose in mind. For example my Security company where we have Un/Armed Security officers private investigations, process servers. we create a jobs that get you the experience in the criminal justice field. We offer pool monitor positions to teenagers as early as age 15 to learn how to communicate, create reports, and even develop command presence. Once they turn 18 they can start doing fire watch and saving up for there Level 2 certification which is unarmed. Then once hire as a level 2 they can save for their level 3 and become an armed officer at age 21. If they would like to continue to a Private investigator they can. This would all be done with our Security company National Special Force LLC and our Security academy Security Texas Academy. We also offer Internships and Mentorships for our community in business building our criminal justice careers.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Mirna.CEO Was started very unexpectantly. I heard that 2024 was the year of action, and to not hold back. With 100% assurance I can say that I been doing exactly that!
So I am a Latina girl from the hood that made it out of the streets with a traumatic past and became a successful CEO in the male industry.
Now I am living my purpose to connect the corporate world with the hood. I believe that there are people like me that are from the hood that want the help need the help but don’t know where to begin or where to find it. Now that I know people that have resources and that want to help I can be the bridge between both worlds.
My whole life I been told I was USELESS AND WORTHLESS, but I have came to the realization that I am uniquely made and as all of us I have purpose in this world. It’s time for me to embrace who I am!!!
My story begins at age 2 where I was chained to a dinning table obligated to watch pornography.
At age 7 I began to get rape by new step father.
At age 11 I got pregnant by my brother and the blame was place on me.
At age 12 I had my son he was premature 6 months 2.1 lbs, he was taken away from me and I was on the verge of a psychopath.
I was placed in and out of foster care, until the system failed me and returned me back home.
At age 13 I was faced with the decision if I wanted to head to go back home to continue to get rape or head to the streets where I was taught loyalty, respect, hustle and most importantly how to survive how to defend myself. I was also working at a bar hustling drugs and females.
At age 14 I was encouraged to get in a relationship with a man that was 10 years older than me, he was abusive mentally, physically, and financially.
At age 15 I was homeless with a 1 year old daughter living in my car and my own principle encourage me to drop out of high school because I was a statistic ( a teenager Latina with a child with no future).
But I believed him and dropped out, but at age 18 I was in a drive by with my daughter in the back seat honestly it was normal but there was something that happen within me that made me want more! (although I did not know what more was)
I was blessed to meet my now husband. I decided to go back to high school and did all 4 years of high school in one. That’s when I realize that I could turn pain into power! To accomplish anything I set my mind to.
Fast forward now I own 5 different businesses.
A Security company where we do Armed/ Unarmed officers, Private investigations, property patrol
A Security academy where we certify license to carry for the public and certify all our officers
A Notary business in Real Estate investing providing home solutions
A Construction company where we do Interior exterior and demolition
A Management where we do Janitorial, porter, and property management services
I am also now a Motivational speaker where I speak at schools and conferences on my story leadership, mental health, entrepreneurship, and woman empowerment.
I am currently writing my book to be publish soon, I am also now hosting these huge Networking events where I combine the hood with the corporate world and mix it with the truck/car./bike show scene and get people connected and educated all in one place.
The Grand Networking Bash (GNB)

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes definitely, we cannot do it alone no matter what we think we always need someone. First I want to thank my madresita for teaching me how to be a hardworking woman no matter how hard life gets, regardless of my past she did what she could to give me a better life. Second Ill give a big thank you to my ex mother in law she was the first to tell me that she saw me as a business woman although what was in front of her was a girl from the hood. Thirdly I want to say a HUGE thank you to my amazing husband I honestly believe that God placed him in my life for a reason. I am so grateful for his patience and understanding and seeing something I never saw. I am beyond grateful for his help and guidance for teaching me and uplifting me as a true man should with his wife. God honestly bless me with him and honestly I would not be where I am now if it wasn’t for him. Gracias to all the jente as well that believe in my vision and story gracias for your support !!!
