We had the good fortune of connecting with Milli Batts a.k.a. ‘Milli Mills’ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Milli, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own business began while I was working as an On-Air Personality in the Radio Broadcast Industry back in the 90s. Many listeners that were pursuing a recording career would often call the request lines during my air shift seeking a Manager or Artist representation. I would often provide a little advice which would later right out lead to managerial assistance. Initially, I would decline the offer but with some persistence, I would eventually agree to a short term contract in an effort to jumpstart their career path. I saw the need to educate and raise awareness among local Talent even back then.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It all began with an internship at Radio Station AM 1590 KYDE, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It was not easy launching my radio career but with hard work, determination, and perseverance, I was able to land a Career in the field of Radio Broadcasting. One of the most valuable lesson I have learned is to continue to follow your own intuition; it usually comes from God to steer you into your purpose in life. I come from humble beginnings. Therefore, my heart comes out to those who may be facing a few challenges in life and need just a little encouragement and direction. Our brand was created to help uplift, motivate, educate, and inspire upcoming or rising talent; serving as a liaison between local talent and the Entertainment industry.
