We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, how do you think about risk?
I believe that being a risk taker is an essential part of starting a business. You must be  willing to throw everything in and give a 100% and continuously work towards your dreams and goals. I honestly have learned so much along the way as to how to run my business. You must be willing to fail in order to succeed and learn. It is by your mistakes that you build your foundation and learn to be successful. Enjoy your journey to whatever level of success and what that means to you!

You will definitely have doubters, And that is ok. I honestly completely ignore them. This is my dream and my road less traveled and I will be successful in what that word means to me. The hard times suck, use them to learn from. I highly suggest reading many books  and joining mentorship programs. These programs continually help support, teach and mentor to be a better version of yourself.
Without risk there is no reward. I have just recently completely stepped out of the box and started a podcast! The Junk Project we share our mental, emotional and physical junk that we deal with and how we got rid of it. Our guests get to share their stories so we can learn about them and help promote their business as well!! We are live on Spotify, ITunes and many others. Reach out if you would like to be a guest!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We provide junk removal services in the DFW area. I started this business in 2014. We love to help people by bringing simple solutions to what feels to them as an overwhelming problem. This is a 100% woman owned and operated company. There are many challenges in this field of work especially being a woman!

The first two years I started I did all the work by myself, as I did not know where to find help at. This included fridge removals, large tv’s and lots more.
This business definitely comes with challenges and there is a solution to every problem! It may not be the solution I want but there is a solution. We encounter each problem with that mindset. We remove single items to complete households. From renters to trashing the house to hoarders and everything in between.

The lessons I have learned so far and I’m excited about the lessons to learn in the future is to never give up!! There is always a way and always an answer. Sometimes you have to step away from the project to figure it out and that is definitely ok!! We continue to grow and we love helping our community with their junk removal problems!

All Junked Up is founded on the principles of Honesty, Integrity and Character. Are most important focus is our customers. We want to take a stressful and overwhelming situation and make it as entertaining as possible, while also educating and when needed showing compassion for our customers and the situations they are in. We are definitely here to help even if you don’t hire us. I want All Junked Up to eventually be a recognizable brand with attention to detail!! We definitely have the best customers!!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the Water Gardens in Downtown Ft Worth. Maybe have some dinner at Del Frisco’s and then head the Four day weekend comedy club. All of these are located in the downtown Ft Worth area!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

My Family as they continue to support and encourage me in my business!
