Hi Michael, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Being better than yesterday. There is always room for improvement, so why wait until the next day. I give my all in the moment and become better the next day after. It is almost like I am betting on myself.

What should our readers know about your business?
B1 Collection: A brand that was started at the beginning of this year that will help me show the community that I am more than football. B1 stands for Believe 1st! Very simple but deep meaning. After every shirt that is made I put “Everything Happens For A Reason”. Another simple quote but with a deep meaning. This brand is giving an audience to those that need motivation in their daily day life! From having a long day at work, at the gym, in the classroom, etc The brand is here to always let you know that everything happens for a reason and a blessing is on the way.

The brand was easy to start because it was something I always wanted to do. Now it gave me the opportunity to show others that I am more than just the game of football. I am a human being that loves to give back to his community.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m from Arlington, Texas home of The Dallas Cowboys. I love my city because there are a lot of folks here that have the same mindset as well and want to become wealthy while applying pressure. If I brought my best friend to the city, I would take them to a Cowboys game, Rudy‘s chicken, Uptown Dallas and Deep Ellum for the turn up! I obviously can’t forget about the malls! I would take them to The Parks Mall, Galleria, and North Park mall.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ve had plenty of people support me throughout my football and education career. I want to give a huge shout out to God for even letting me see another day to compete. Big shout out to my family members, my mom, sister, and two brothers. For pushing me to my limits and also looking up to them because of how successful they are. Big shout out to my two elementary teachers Mrs.Johnson and Mrs.Melchirroe! These two woman have gave me the opportunity to not just be their student, but their son as well! Without this support system, I would not be where I am today.
