We had the good fortune of connecting with Melody Brager and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Melody, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to keep my mom’s legacy alive due to her passing last year. So my sister and I wanted to make sure we kept the Total Unique name. We thought what would be unique and we decided on the name Total Unique Dallas party pleasures and more.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of my interactions with clients. And making sure they are always happy with not only our services. But their overall experience with the 360 photo booth. Learning the systems took alittle work but after many practices it had become something I love to do.
I’ve learned that no matter what you do, you have to love it. It has to be something you do with no force. Something that brings you peace. I love making sure everyone I encounter leaves my presence with joy, smile, motivation or laughter.
I want people to know to look out for Total Unique Dallas (party pleasures and more)! We have some amazing newly added movie projector and inflatable screens for rental. And just many more items dropping soon.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well we would most definitely stop at Jones Ink. to get us some shirts made. That is the best embroidery company ever shout out to Kayla! Then we would definitely put on some walking shoes and do the margarita mile downtown Dallas. Making sure to stop by Klyde Warren Park because why not! True kitchen and kocktails for a good drink and bite to eat. And as always stop by the spiritual store for our crystals and incense.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes I sure do! I would love to shout out my parents Vera Jones and Andrew Brager. I watched my dad own his own transportation company since I was a little girl. He taught me so much about business and life. My mom taught me business etiquette and was my number one supporter. May she rest paradise. Also my sister Tiara Jones. She has always inspired me with her many talents. And lastly Honey Banks, man this lady came in my life and she motivated and empowered me. She’s my super ninja! Lol! Words can’t express how thankful I am to have met such and amazing woman and friend.
