We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megan, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Fear often holds people back from taking risks, but the reality is taking risks is integral to achieving success. In my professional opinion, a reluctance to take risks indicates a lack of commitment to achieving one’s goals.

Success lies beyond the barriers of fear and taking risks is the only way to overcome them. As an entrepreneur, I am well acquainted with the necessity of taking risks, whether they be financial, operational or strategic. It’s an intrinsic part of the entrepreneurial journey and I embrace this reality on a daily basis.

What should our readers know about your business?
Kid Clothier is not just a clothing brand, but rather a destination for positivity that extends far beyond the surface. Our mission is to foster a sense of powerful self-awareness in kids through positive affirmations, books, and other resources that nourish their minds and hearts. By joining our community, parents and families can equip their children with the tools they need to look and feel their best during the critical first 10 years of their lives.

As a part of this mission, I am thrilled to be contributing to a positive change in our culture and helping to instill positivity in the next generation. It is a privilege to provide intentional parents with not only clothing but also books and culture cards filled with affirmative statements to aid in raising future world changers.

Our journey has not been easy, but persistence and connectivity have been key factors in our success thus far. Building both business and personal connections throughout the last year has put us on the fast track towards achieving our goals, and we are deeply grateful for this progress.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a challenging question for me as my usual routine involves spending time at home with my husband and kids or engaging in family-friendly activities.

However, I do have fond memories of visiting the Perot Museum in the past. The museum features a diverse range of exhibits and attractions, including an annual wine event that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would love to take my bff there to explore and learn together. I’d also take her to Uncle Julios, they have the best tacos— hands down.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to express my gratitude and give a special shoutout to the Lord for always being there for me, my family, and my close friends. Your unwavering love and support mean everything to me.

Additionally, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of our valued customers – the intentional parents out there. Your trust and support have been crucial in our success and we couldn’t have made it this far without you. Thank you for entrusting us with your needs and for being a part of our journey.
