Hi Mark, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own cleaning business stemmed from my early involvement and experiences learning from my father (Mark Anthony Tuck Sr), who founded the business in 1990. As a young boy, I began helping my father with the daily operations of the business and gained valuable knowledge on how to run a successful enterprise. Throughout the years, he showed me the ropes and instilled in me the necessary skills and work ethic required to manage and grow a business.

After my father’s passing in 2015, I knew deep down that it was my destiny to continue the legacy of our family business. The foundation laid by my father and the lessons he imparted upon me served as the driving force behind my decision to take over the business and ensure its continued success. Embracing this responsibility not only honored my father’s memory but also allowed me to build upon the business he worked so hard to establish. Ultimately, my dedication to preserving and expanding our family business motivated me to embark on this entrepreneurial journey and uphold the values passed down to me from my father.

My journey to where I am today professionally has been filled with challenges, but they have only made me stronger and more determined. It hasn’t been easy, but through hard work, perseverance, and faith in God, I have been able to overcome obstacles and continue to grow my business.

One of the key lessons I’ve learned along the way is the importance of listening to my customers and valuing their feedback. Their input has been invaluable in shaping the way we deliver our services and continuously improve.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to God who made all of this possible, my wife Anntannette Tuck, who has been instrumental in taking our family business to the next level, my kids Ad’Dilynn, A’Laya, Anthony Tuck. I also want to recognize my mother Cynthia Tuck-Thompson and sister Shuantiva Pegues, who has been a constant source of support from the very beginning. In addition, my in-laws Adam and Sandra Richardson have been a valuable asset to our business and deserve recognition for their support. Our COO Shedrick Craddock, who joined us under our mobile detailing sector, has made significant contributions to our success. I also want to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of few team members who have been with us since the beginning of TMC, including Atrion Crook, Garrett Luman, and Joel Morrison. Their commitment has been crucial to our journey and deserves credit and recognition.
