We had the good fortune of connecting with Mario Tovar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mario, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks in life has become a must for me. My growth has been in found in taking risks. Leaving fear behind and going for it has been one of the greatest things I’ve learned in life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My content is about connection—sometimes through humor, sometimes through honesty that stings a little. I create things that make people feel something, whether that’s laughing, reflecting, or seeing life from a new angle. I’m not here to be perfect or polished; I’m here to be real. That’s what sets me apart.

It definitely wasn’t an easy journey to get here. I’ve faced personal challenges, legal issues, financial setbacks—you name it. But those experiences forced me to grow. I learned how to stay emotionally disciplined, how to protect my peace, and how to build something on my terms without letting the world tell me who I should be.

What I want people to know is that freedom—whether it’s emotional, financial, or creative—comes from ownership. Own your story, own your mistakes, and build something that reflects who you really are. That’s what I’m doing with my brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely hit up Vidorra in Rockwall. It’s a chill vibe and bit different from the other locations in DFW. Great food and drinks.

Horse back riding is a must.
To cool off in the summer time heat, rooftop pool and some drinks.

A nice chill night out, hit up a few different places, some of my favorite, Te Deseo, E Bar, The Henry, or maybe even Fort Worth Stockyards.

I’ve got a list of some things and places to go, there’d always be something to do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out all my friends & family (the few) that supported me when I first got started. From helping me film my crazy content ideas to being around when times got tough in my personal life. You’re all greatly appreciated. Thank you.
