We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariette McCray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mariette, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote or affirmation is “Normalize Miracles”. This is because it is a reminder to myself and ladies going through their fertility journey that miracles are actually happening every day all around us. If you can shift your mindset to believing this and knowing that miracles are happening for you too, then you can ease into the fertility journey more. It is a beautiful way to think.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Texas Rose Concierge Nurse is a luxury concierge service that provides ladies with exceptional individualized nursing care and emotional support throughout their unique fertility journey. Whatever part of the IVF, Embryo Transfer, Egg Freeze journey they may be on, we will be by their side. We offer daily home injection visits where an RN will come directly to the home to mix and administer the fertility medication. Often times, this journey can be lonely, stressful, and scary and its so important during this time to minimize stress where and when you can. The peace of mind of having a nurse handle the challenge of mixing and giving the injections to you is priceless and having the same friendly face coming to your home during this challenging time is really nice for the continuation of care.
This business was inspired from working in a fertility clinic as an IVF Case Manager Nurse and seeing the genuine need for a service like this. Ladies would call in with their struggles and fears, and as a clinic nurse, I could only offer so much but felt the desire to be able to offer more and be more present because that was truly needed during a time of so many unknowns for these women.
Texas Rose Concierge Nurse was born through the idea of being able to help more women and couples alike, and provide more individualized care that I was not able to always provide in the very busy fertility clinic environment.
Texas Rose Concierge Nurse was the very first Fertility Concierge Service in the DFW area which makes me so proud. I started the business in fall of 2022 and have been going strong ever since. There are continuous challenges as an entrepreneur, but the support of my husband and son has kept me going strong and their belief in me and my service. Being able to show my son at a young age that nothing is impossible, dream big, and to “Normalize Miracles” every day, is what keeps me going.
I have been a Registered Nurse since 2008, over 17 years at this point, and am so grateful for this pocket of nursing to call my own and feel like I can truly make a difference in the fertility world when in so many aspects of nursing you do not always get to see the difference you are making. I am grateful to be able to help women and be a blip in their journey to becoming a mother.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ideal day in the Dallas area would start with cappuccino and breakfast at Sadelle’s followed by a walk on the Katy Trail. Cool off after the walk at Berkley’s and grab a small bite. Then would finish at home with my family and some football on the tv or a Christmas Hallmark movie, my favorite. Dinner would be something homemade with love ideally or go to the Rockwall Harbor for dinner and a beautiful lakeview.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my Shoutout to my husband, Demetrus, whom I could not do any of this without. He instilled in me the confidence to even take the leap to start my own business and has helped guide me through the good and bad days. Every day he has been my sounding board always with the best advice. Without him, the business would not exist. His love and support are all I need in this life and I am forever grateful to have him by my side.
