We had the good fortune of connecting with Marbella Quintana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marbella, how do you define success?
Success looks different for everyone. To me success is being able to do something you love and being able to share it with family. Being successful is more than money it’s the ability to look back to where you started and seeing the growth you’ve done not just in business; but mentally and physically and being able to overcome every obstacle in your way.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been in the fashion industry for about 3 years now focusing on little girl and boys clothing. It’s been so fun to showcase our brand around DFW. Of course the ride hasn’t been easy I’ve faced so many obstacles from personal to financial and thinking hard if I should continue. All I new was that this was my passion and I had so many plans for Cattaleya’s to accomplish. I prayed and I left it all in Gods hands and I continued without a plan or an idea and somehow things just fell into place. I had the opportunity to attend several conferences and placed myself around other woman going through something similar as me and it was a game changer for sure. Right now Cattaleya’s is going strong and growing!
I have also decided to get into beauty industry as I realized that styling and making woman feel beautiful is truly what makes me happy! I’m not sure where this new journey will lead me but I know that with God and my family by my side I can do just about anything!
I’m excited for you to visit us in a front store and being styled by us.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love visiting museums attending markets and places with unique things. I also love visiting the city, taking pictures and finding cute spots for the “perfect” instagram posts. When I have the opportunity to spend a day with a friend a local coffee spot is always the start. Here in Dallas one of my favorite spots is in Bishop Arts District there you can shop, eat, snack, take pictures, etc. it’s a must!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost I want to thank God because without him none of this would be possible. A shoutout to my husband for all the support his given me and working nonstop to help me accomplish my dreams and goals.
