Meet Lori Jones | Owner & Founder, 15TH & VINE ®️

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lori Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lori, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea to launch my small business initially resulted after being laid-off from my dream job during the Great Tech Layoffs. Having a career that was so near and dear to my heart, suddenly taken away, created a desire to have more ownership over my own career path.
I have always found enjoyment in making the most out of life’s everyday moments. As I began navigating my new normal, I started challenging myself to create intentional self-care moments. I wanted something special to look forward to, while also allowing myself a creative outlet that prioritized self-care.
These were the building blocks for 15TH & VINE ®️.
I launched 15TH & VINE to help others create their own memorable mini-moments. From creative DIY ideas and activities, to our curated collection of affordable luxury products and gifts, 15TH & VINE is an online destination to support intentional self-care. I am also proud to support fellow creatives through our online Candle Studio, which exclusively features 100% hand-poured candles from small business artisans across the U.S.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have learned several invaluable lessons throughout my journey as an entrepreneur.
My top three lessons would have to be:
1.) Organization is key. Whether it’s your time or your digital files, creating systems to organize your business can save you not only time, but lots… and lots of money.
2.) Burnout is real. Minimize your non-essential decision-making.
3.) Remember your why. Most of your roadblocks can be addressed, if not resolved, by simply remembering why you got started in the first place.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If friends or family were visiting the area, and I wanted to show them a wonderful time, I would absolutely take them to our local farmers markets. There are several markets throughout the Metroplex that feature some of the most creative artisans and the best local cuisine. Some of my favorite year-round markets include:
• Frisco Fresh Market
• Moonlit Markets Artisan Market at The Sound (Irving, TX)
• Grandscape at The Colony (different markets throughout the year)
• & Melissa Farmers Market
✨️ I would also take them to a new market that I’ve been wanting to visit, The Boho Market. I’ve heard wonderful things about this market and can’t wait to visit!
✨️ Downtown Denton and Historic Downtown McKinney also offer wonderful seasonal food and holiday festivals.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been blessed to have an amazing support system, so I would like to take a moment to publicly recognize and thank them.
✨️ To my husband, family and friends, thank you for showing up for me during each phase of this wild journey. From your words of encouragement to your financial support of my brand, you have helped me stay the course and build something I am truly proud of, to share with the world.
✨️ To the hard-working small business creatives that I have connected with over the years, thank you for your words of wisdom, business referrals, and stellar sense of community. You have fueled my drive to keep moving forward.
✨️ To every phenomenal customer, who I have either had the pleasure of meeting in-person at community market events, or have met virtually through our online shop, thank you for putting your trust in my brand. I am so excited for you to see what’s coming next!
