Meet Lisa Joshi | Owner of Enchanted Parties DFW

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Joshi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, how does your business help the community?
When I created Enchanted Parties DFW, I wanted to help spread magic to children and families in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth area! I wanted to provide a fun, personalized, High quality experience, for everyone! There are many people who might not be able to afford an expensive vacation, or to fly out of town for a week, but still want to meet some of their favorite characters. It’s often difficult to find a High quality, professional, and magical Character experience, and I am thrilled to be able to spread a little joy right here in Texas!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Growing up I always loved performing and entertaining! I did everything from being a competitive ice skater, to singing, acting, dancing and modeling, and even piano competitions! I graduated with straight A’s at the age of 16 and moved to California to pursue acting. While I was there I had my first job at a well known theme park. That is where I discovered my love for character acting, and creating in-person, magical experiences! Upon moving back to Dallas, TX I had an incredible desire to be involved in those magical experiences again! I decided to start my own High Quality Character Entertainment company. I wasn’t sure if it would work out or not, but I took a step of faith and with the grace of God, and word of mouth, my company began to grow! It grew so much I started auditioning cast members to help me spread even more magic! Today we have many characters and cast members and are booked non stop! It has definitely been a journey going through multiple costumes, finding designers and wig stylists, putting together some of my own designs, auditioning, casting, training, researching, late nights, and handling bookings and scheduling! It has been alot, but I am so blessed and grateful for the incredible experiences I’ve had, families I have met, and how much I have grown on this magical journey!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a big fan of our local Shops of Highland Village! There are so many great restraunts and stores to shop at all in one place! I definitely recommend letting your children run through the mini splash pad they have! Another place I really enjoyed was Dreamscape at AMC Northpark! The virtual reality experience was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it for a fun friends day, or date night! I have also heard wonderful things about Grandscape! I have not been yet, but my cast members and I are planning a day of fun together at grandscape! And of course any local event where our Princesses from Enchanted Parties DFW are appearing! It’s always exciting to meet a Princess!.
