Hi Lesly, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
One of the key habits that has played a pivotal role in my success is unwavering dedication to my craft. I firmly believe in consistently honing my skills and staying committed, even during challenging times when obstacles may appear insurmountable. Additionally, I have cultivated a habit of maintaining a positive outlook, enabling me to step back, assess the bigger picture, and proactively seek solutions in the face of adversity. Furthermore, I prioritize engaging in activities that directly contribute to the growth and development of my business, ensuring that every action I take aligns with its overall objectives.

What should our readers know about your business?
My MGMT and Marketing business sets itself apart by offering a highly personalized and hands-on approach to our clients. We consistently exceed their expectations, going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction. What makes me most proud is that despite starting with no financial resources, we have managed to achieve remarkable success, generating six-figure revenue within just six months. My team and I are known for our agility and efficient work style, operating with a sense of urgency as if we were the only ones providing our services.

To reach where I am today, I embarked on a self-taught journey, immersing myself in the industry from the comfort of my living room. Through extensive research and data collection, I worked hard to sharpen my skills. Initially, it seemed challenging to gather all the necessary information, but I realized that taking the leap and acquiring clients was crucial to gaining the experience I needed. Pushing myself to dive into the business world, even when I felt unprepared, turned out to be a significant milestone in my success.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of separating personal matters from business decisions. I came to understand that no one will invest as much effort into my business as I do. In the early stages, I wore multiple hats, embracing different roles and responsibilities, which ultimately expanded my knowledge. This experience enabled me to delegate effectively when the time came to bring new team members on board.

My journey is rooted in humble beginnings, having grown up in a financially disadvantaged family. From relying on food banks to being dependent on school-provided meals, I have overcome these circumstances to establish and manage multiple successful businesses. It’s essential for others to know that our past does not define us; it is our determination and resilience that shape our future.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

– Morning: Start with a hearty breakfast at a local brunch spot known for its delicious pancakes and artisanal coffee.
– Afternoon: Explore the vibrant downtown area, visiting trendy boutiques, art galleries, and unique shops.
– Evening: Enjoy a fine dining experience at a renowned restaurant that offers a fusion of international flavors and a sophisticated ambiance.

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to Casey Barnette, my husband, who has played a significant role in my journey. Since meeting him at the age of 19, I have experienced tremendous personal and professional growth. Casey has not only imparted valuable skills to me, but he has also helped me refine and enhance them. His guidance and mentorship have taught me the importance of patience in both life and business. Moreover, the most invaluable lesson he has shared with me is the art of sales, which has been instrumental in my achievements. I am truly grateful for his unwavering support and the impact he has had on my success.
