We had the good fortune of connecting with Latoria Wade and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Latoria, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor for me would be being able to help another Muva “Mom” navigate through this thing called life by helping them along the way. Whether it’s monetary or sharing wisdom.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart is that I’m all about being my Authentic self and being Very Transparent to help other Muvas or Women out there that may be Growing through or Growing in areas I’ve passed the Test in.

What I’m most proud of about “Muvas In The City” is the impact it has on other Muvas “Mom”/Women. There are a lot of things I do behind the scenes for women that makes proud of my organization.

I got to where I am to do by having trial and error. It wasn’t easy at all. I over came the challenges with PRAYER and continuing to move FORWARD. Most days or should I say all days I wanted to throw in the towel, but then I would receive messages from other women telling me, Thank You for what I’ve done by being my authentic self and my transparency.

The lessons that I’ve learned would be No Matter what it may look like or what has thrown you curve balls to keep swinging until you hit the ball out the park. Eventually you’re going to hit it. Great things doesn’t happen overnight. GOD gave you the idea for a reason. DON’T GIVE UP!

I want the world to know about Myself and Muvas In The City is that no matter what I will continue to Persevere through the challenges to help the next Muva/Woman in life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Nektar for one of their amazing Bowls, then we would go for a walk in Discovery Park and people watch, Go hit a couple of stores at the Galleria, Go grab a bite to eat at probably Torchy’s Tacos, Go back home shower, pour a glass of wine while getting ready to hit up Bar 5015 later that night for some nice music and good vibes.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
#1 I would have to give a shoutout to GOD for giving me the idea of “Muvas In The City” to implement the plan.

#2 It would have to be Nicole Handy her instagram name is MrsNikkiHandy hearing her and the back ground of Braden Real Estate Group would PUSH anyone to go harder in their business. She is such a Go-Getter and to know her Grandparents started a legacy to leave for their children/grandchildren is what I inspire to do for my children/grandchildren one day.
