Meet LaTasha Wright | Actress|Director|Producer|AD|Model|Multi-Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with LaTasha Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LaTasha, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to start a business in 2016 but the timing wasn’t right. Fast forward to 2022, our 3 businesses were formed Diamond Cut Productions, LLC (Film & Media Industry), Diamond Cut Drip, LLC ( Apparel) and our parent company Leo’s Dirt 2 Diamonds, LLC. I wanted to show my creativity to the world. I love movies and film. After the businesses were formed I decided to get my feet wet and applied for my first role as a background actor. When I arrived on set I was given lines and thats how my acting, directing and producing career began.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It all started in 2022. I started doing nonprofit work for the organization Suits for Judah located in Dallas Texas. For a couple years I had been thinking about starting a business and was just waiting on the right opportunity. I met my business partner, and we decided to form a few businesses. Diamond Cut Productions,LLC and Diamond Cut Drip,LLC. The companies are film, production, TV, commercial videos, and apparel. Once the businesses were formed, I decided I wanted to learn more and really get into it so I applied for my first background acting role. While on set, I was offered a roll with lines. I obtained an acting mentor and I have attended acting classes. Since all of this has started, I have now become an actress, director, an assistant director and producer for short films, movies, and TV series. So far I’ve completed a print model ad for a storage company, a commercial, three movies, five short films and a TV series. I love this journey I’m on. It’s really tapped into my creative side.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate a shout out to N’Kole Bryant and Suits for Judah ( Non- Profit in Dallas). I serve on the Board of Suits for Judah as the Media & Marketing Director. I would also like to give a shoutout to My Life and Business partner Kenneth Horne.
