Meet LaQueta Wheeler | Founder & Chief Executive Creative at Faith Glows

We had the good fortune of connecting with LaQueta Wheeler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaQueta, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my faith in God. Faith is the  foundation of my businesses. I had a vision. Therefore, I went to God in my prayer closet about my vision. I believe in yielding to the Holy Spirit before making any decisions. God ordered my steps prior to launching Faith Glows and He continues to guide me daily. Divine connections have been developed because of that “one” vision. God always blows my mind about my business accomplishments and I am so humbled all of it. I am so excited to see what else God has in store for me!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have an energetic servant spirit for the Kingdom of God. My desire is to exemplify God’s love while inspiring and encouraging people. I believe that an individual’s breakthrough could be within a positive message on our products. My daily goal is to allow my faith to glow while motivating people, promoting positivity, and displaying integrity to everyone who crosses my path. Therefore, I knew a t-shirt business would be an amazing business to launch to share my positive vibes with the world.

I am the Founder and Chief Executive Creative (CEC) of Faith Glows, LLC. Faith Glows was established in June 2017 after attending a faith-based Christian conference in Houston, Texas. During that conference, the speaker told the audience to step out on faith for anything that we wanted God to do in our lives. I wrote down “entrepreneurship” and after praying about the name, God gave me “Faith Glows” within minutes. God gets all the glory for everything I do, including my businesses. Fast forward to 2020, I was finally ready to walk in my passion, purpose, and perseverance. Faith Glows was officially launched on August 1, 2020.

Faith Glows is a print on demand customized apparel business for individuals and business owners. We specialize in Direct to Garment (DTG), Embroidery, Vinyl, and Sublimation. We focus on offering bold & inspiring messages on our products offered in our online store. At Faith Glows, we are about more than t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, and bags. We are about everything that you love and enjoy. We focus on offering customized products and strive to uphold creativity, quality, and second to none service on all orders. We believe that a customized apparel can make you feel good and inspire you at the same time.

Our mission is to always deliver the best quality on time every time, and to exceed our customers’ expectations. Our products will Engage, Encourage, Educate, Enrich, and Empower everyone. In addition to being the CEC of Faith Glows, I am the owner of Faithful Activewear Boutique – an online activewear boutique. Also, I am the Founder and Owner of Faithful Coaching Solutions where I am a Certified Life Coach. I am so glad God moved me out of my comfort zone when He did and elevated me to entrepreneurship. Becoming an entrepreneur, has been one of my greatest accomplishments and I do not regret anything about it. My desire is coach others on how to manifest their visions and dreams. I am most proud of the long-lasting business relationships and friendships that I have gained as an entrepreneur.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my bestie visited the DFW area, I would take her to the AT&T Stadium for a tour. She can’t travel all the way to Dallas and not check out the Home of the Dallas Cowboys – fan or not. I would take her to other attractions such as Top Golf and the African American Museum of Dallas. In addition, we would visit my favorite restaurants: Pappadeaux, Ellen’s, Thibodeaux Cajun Cookin’, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and the Cake Bar. We would go shopping at the Galleria and Legacy West. If time permits, I would take her hiking at the Cedar Ridge Preserve.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I want to recognize God. I wouldn’t be able to share my story today if it had not been for Him making this spotlight opportunity possible for me. Secondly, I want to recognize my parents and my sister (my BFF). They have been very supportive even when entrepreneurship was only a thought in my mind. Lastly, I want to recognize Dr. Connie Stewart, Senior Pastor of Believer’s Empowerment Church located in Houston, Texas. I decided to step out on faith for entrepreneurship during her faith-based conference (Bloom Fest – The Winner’s Circle) in May 2017. Dr. Connie is my coach. I’m very thankful for our divine connection.
