We had the good fortune of connecting with Lacole Broadus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lacole, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Fitness Compulsion was born out of my personal journey and my recognition of a gap in the wellness industry. As an executive, I found myself out of shape and over 200 pounds. I decided to take matters into my own hands and started my wellness journey. I studied nutrition, medical anatomy, and holistic wellness, and within 6 weeks, I lost 65 pounds, and in 4 months, I had lost 100 pounds. Through this transformative experience, I realized that the wellness solutions available at the time didn’t meet my specific needs as a high-performing individual.

I saw a significant gap in the wellness industry—there was a need for a more personalized, multi-faceted approach that didn’t just focus on physical fitness but also nurtured mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. That’s when I decided to create Fitness Compulsion. My goal was to help high-performing individuals like myself achieve optimal health by combining fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, stress management, and self-care.

With Fitness Compulsion, I designed holistic wellness programs specifically for busy professionals, while also offering retreats and coaching opportunities that deliver lasting transformation. My mission is to empower people to thrive in all areas of their lives, blending physical fitness with mental clarity and emotional balance.

What should our readers know about your business?
Fitness Compulsion is more than just a wellness brand—it’s a movement designed to help high-performing individuals transform their lives by focusing on total wellness: physical fitness, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual well-being. What sets us apart from others is our personalized, multi-faceted approach. We don’t just focus on fitness; we integrate nutrition, mindfulness, stress management, and self-care into everything we do. Whether it’s through our wellness coaching, corporate programs, or luxury retreats, our goal is to provide a comprehensive, tailored experience for each individual.

One of the most exciting innovations we’re introducing is the **Fitness Compulsion Sensitivity Test**, which is revolutionizing the way we approach wellness. This test gives clients a deeper insight into their health by identifying unique sensitivities, helping to personalize fitness and nutrition plans even more effectively. It’s a powerful tool that allows us to better understand our clients’ bodies and how they respond to different wellness strategies. This information is then used to create truly customized wellness programs, ensuring that each client can achieve their best possible results.

I’m incredibly excited about the upcoming launch of **Fitness Compulsion wellness resorts** and our **luxury retreat in Greece**. These resorts will offer a truly transformative experience for our clients, combining the latest wellness practices with luxury accommodations and the best of local culture. This is the next step in our mission to lead the industry in luxury wellness.

Getting to where I am today was not easy. It took years of hard work, studying, and dedication to build the knowledge and expertise that I needed to truly serve my clients in the way I envisioned. One of the biggest challenges was realizing that the wellness industry didn’t have a solution that met my needs, and then turning that into a business that helps others like me. But I pushed through those challenges by staying focused on the mission. I dreamed big and never lost sight of my goal to create something that would elevate wellness to the highest standards.

Along the way, I’ve learned several key lessons. The most important one is to stay focused on the mission and not get distracted by noise. Dream big, and take consistent, purposeful steps toward those dreams. I also learned that challenges are inevitable, but they’re also opportunities for growth. Overcoming obstacles requires resilience, creativity, and a willingness to adapt.

What I want the world to know is that **Fitness Compulsion is the leader in luxury wellness**. We’re not just a wellness brand—we’re creating a new standard in the industry. We will continue to raise the bar by offering the highest-quality wellness experiences, from personalized coaching and transformational retreats to luxury resorts that provide an all-encompassing journey toward total wellness. Our story is one of passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to helping people live their best, healthiest lives.
