We had the good fortune of connecting with Kynedi Chrystine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kynedi, what matters most to you?
I value integrity the most! “Do it right, even if no one is watching” For as long as I can remember, I’ve naturally found myself in leadership roles. With that, I feel as though I have a responsibility. That responsibility is to lead by example, and inspire these “followers” to become effective wellness leaders of themselves, and within their communities. I have God, my parents, grandmother, and awesome coaches to thank for planting this core value in me!

What should our readers know about your business?
Wellness Connect is an upcoming lifestyle brand with a mission to encourage individuals to enhance and connect the 7 dimensions of wellness within and about their communities.

WC is a holistic wellness platform, providing items that encourage and aide in an individuals holistic wellness journey.
Our current best seller is our multi-use Wellness Connect Seamoss Gel. We are currently working with environmentally conscious/friendly seamoss growers in the Caribbeans to ensure we are doing our part in healing the environment, as well as providing our customers with the best and purest seamoss products.

The Founder Journey:
I created the rough draft of the Wellness Connect business plan back in January 2018. At the time I had just graduated with a Bachelors of  Science, and was full time health/wellness educator and sports coach.

I told myself I’d get started on the plan as soon as possible, and wouldn’t procrastinate or let “life get in the way”. Well… life happened. I became occupied with all the “who’s, what’s, when’s, where’s, and how’s”, my day-to-day responsibilities, and it took me a little longer than expected. Like many people, I did quite a bit of self reflection during quarantine. My occupation with planing the perfect launch and perfecting my craft, distracted me from taking action! Through years of practice and teaching, I know the extreme benefits of creating actionable goals to improve my own health and wellness all to well. I just had to make the connection.

Now, as the founder and CEO of Wellness Connect, I can confidently say I am serving my community by providing quality wellness education and products. Equipping others with Wellness education Helping others create and execute personal actionable wellness plans is my passion!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It’s a Sunny spring Sunday. 8:30 The first place I’m taking them is on a walk through the Bishop Arts District Town to see all the art and small businesses they have. 9AM We’ll take a trip to LaReunion and get the best Oat Milk Lavender Latte in Dallas. 10:30 AM We’ll then take a Yoga Class with the World renown yoga instructor, Chinook at the Sanders Fit Gym. 1:00PM I’ll prep a smoothie made with Wellness Connect Seamoss Gel, and some fresh fruits and vegetables from the Farmers Market (gotta stay healthy) 2pm I’ll take them to Trinity Groves to grab a quick brunch, mimosas, and a sweet treat from the Cake Bar 5pm We’ll head to the canvas for one of the best views in Dallas as the sun sets Some great spaces to check out is the Waterproof at the Statler, Equinox Gym, 4 the Culture Studios, Vegan Food House, Pan African Connection, For the Love of Art, and of course the Farmer’s Market
