Hi Krizz’Tina, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I chose creativity because it’s a humongous part of who I am as an individual. I also prefer going against the grain; finding ways to make what I love come to the forefront rather than adhering to a common way of doing anything.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what sets me apart is my transparency. If you ask me question, about anything, I’ll share. That has helped me develop relationships and build a community rather than a following.

Professionally speaking, I got here on trial and error. Both taking advantage of opportunities that compliment my goals and sometimes not getting it right the first few times! Nothing worth doing is easy, and that’s why it’s worth it.

I’ve learned overtime that as a creative You can either be good at a lot or great at a little. In other words, knowing what I’m doing and how it’s benefiting the entirety of my small community prevents me from feeling like I’ve got to keep up with every new thing out there. Truly, you can grow wherever you plant your seed and water it.

I want the world to know that I am who I am because of Jehovah. It takes a lot of earnest effort to be some of the things I’ve been complimented as, and he deserves the credit.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Actually my sister is visiting soon and she’s never spent much time in Dallas despite us being from DFW. I plan to take her to Jalisco Norte for the delicious food, Klyde Warren Park for the views, Bishop Arts for Emporium Pie, Azúcar Ice cream, Enos Pizza, Eately in North Park mall and of course Legacy West!

I would like to thank my husband for encouraging me to continue expressing myself and never being afraid of what’s to come!
