We had the good fortune of connecting with Koffee Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Koffee, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is keeping my spiritual foundation first. Remembering who I am and WHO’s I am. My personal relationship with God is my foundation to anything I touch in my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I got into the entertainment industry very early on in life starting out as a freelance model. I traveled the United States doing hair shows, and fashion shows. That quickly blossom into a love for the camera, not just being in front of the camera, but also being behind the camera as the photographer. Photography became a huge part of my life, and I began to learn about being more than just a subject in front of the camera when acting or modeling I learned how to be fluid like water allowing myself to be the art instead of creating the art.

I already had a strong love for theater, since high school; polishing up those skills in college by taking film and theater classes.
After I graduated college, I realize that I still had this yearning to be a household name. I began to fine tune my craft, and seek representation with a reputable agency. It did not take long to find representation; commercial work came first being that I’m in Texas commercial capital of the world and feature films followed suit.

During this journey, I have faced adversity as well as victories. The key goal is to never give up and to always stay grounded and secure in yourself.

I want the world to know that I am just a regular girl chasing her dream. The only person that can stop a dream chaser is the dreamer.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a really reserved individual outside of my work so if I had a friend come into town, we would probably keep it low-key starting out with brunch at another broken egg Café and then we would visit the DALLAS art museum, and check out the art; following that we’d head over to the food trucks at Clyde, Warren Park, and then most likely end with live music at the Freeman.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My recognition and success will always start and end with God without my foundation I don’t know where I would be. Next, I have to give the upmost respect and love to my mother, who has always been my biggest motivator and support system. Last, but not least, a person that I will forever hold near and dear to my heart for walking this journey with me the last year, as my success has blossomed. Helping me with auditions, assisting with my son and just being a light when my days got dark. Ayo Ari you are the true definition of bliss.
