We had the good fortune of connecting with Kodi Jane Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kodi Jane, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started stamping jewelry, I had no idea it was going to soar like it has. I found that it gave me a creative outlet that also allowed me to spend more time with my husband in his metal fabrication shop. When it quickly took off & I was frantically trying to stay organized with the orders were flooding in I knew I had to change & change fast. I was able to get a website published & social media accounts made. But the growth didn’t stop there, I was able to set up a booth in Canton at The First Monday Trades Day & with more growth, it landed me in the store front I am in today. I never had a full thought about starting my own business, it just seemed to happen in front of my eyes & I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from other boutique stores is that I love to help people dress to give them confidence & feel great about themselves! I’ve learned over the years, not everyone can put outfits together & thats where I come in. We can start with an inspiration outfit photo, or maybe have a special event to go to or just need retail therapy. The Salty Bronc Boutique is the place to go!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week long trip in East Texas 🙌🏼

Monday: Coffee & Breakfast from Grandmas Kitchen! I recommend the French toast! Lunch at Molinas (formerly Peraltas) is always good & fast! Homemade bottomless salsa!

Tuesday: Coffee at Ricks (Try the cupcake flavor) & later have Lunch at The Dairy Bar (Chicken Tenders are The Town Favorites)

Wednesday: Shopping All Day in Grand Saline, Salty Bronc Boutique, The Pierced Cactus Co, Gifts on Main, Flyway Southern Outdoors. Lunch at Bloom N’ Brew!(The Firecracker Wrap is a MUST TRY!) Dessert at Ajs Sweet Ice!

Thursday: Dinner at Salt Lickers (Hopefully they have crawfish soon) but definitely try the fried green beans.

Friday: Dinner at Richies, The Drink Menu always has something special on it & the food will hit the spot! The Chicken Alfredo is my go to!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband deserves the biggest shoutout! He has supported me from day one. He has helped me perfect my stamping techniques and create new designs. He helped me set up booths for the trade day shows, made my check out counter for the store, created my shoe wall, given me his input for clothing ideas, told me everything was going to be ok when the meltdowns showed up & SO much more! I would not have made it this far without him. But I also would like to thank each & every customer who has made a purchase, the ones who have recommended me to others, and the one who have “liked or shared” a photo on social media, I have shipped to almost every state in the United States & I owe it all to them!
