We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimmie Ellis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kimmie, what principle do you value most?
Honesty and integrity are foundational principles that hold immense value to me, both in my personal life and in any professional endeavor. These principles serve as the bedrock upon which trust, authenticity, and reliability are built.
In the context of professional relationships, such as the relationship between our business and our clients, honesty and integrity are indispensable. They are the cornerstones of trust, and without trust, it becomes challenging to establish and maintain meaningful connections with our clients!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Things I’ve learned: Pray every day.
Gratitude is the best attitude Eph 5:20
Surround yourself with people you want to be like.
Be selective with who you share your ideas with!
Define what success is to you.
Be a dreamer but also be a doer.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The biggest shoutout in my life is to GOD! I know..I know… everyone says that but hear me out.
Humble Beginnings:
The story goes…little ole Kimmie Ellis was born in Odessa, TX, and moved to Mansfield when she was 2 years old.
I lived in a single-wide trailer with a whole lot of family members as neighbors. We had our own little commune and there was a lot of love, family dinners, and laughter. You could say the dinners were like the fast and furious movies. LOL.
Searching For Meaning:
Over the years I felt like something was missing in my life. I was filling that hole in my heart with relationships. It wasn’t until I was 26 that I found God. In reality, He chose me. God had been pursuing me since the day I was born. I had heard about the rapture in the sixth grade and then went to a catholic service at 25.
Divine Intervention + The Gospel:
It wasn’t until I heard the true gospel…a loving God sent his perfect son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead 3 days later and is now sitting at the right hand of God. This is a gift that is not based on good deeds or performance. It’s a gift I freely accepted on December 9, 2012! The miracle is, that I am a first-generation American who went from living in a single-wide trailer to now owning a luxury boutique resort with strong believers who have also experienced a relationship with Jesus. The steps that led me here all started when I committed my actions to the Lord, prayed about how to glorify Him, and then stepped out in faith with what he put in front of me.
I encourage you to do the same!
