We had the good fortune of connecting with Khristophe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khristophe, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risks taking is essential to the growth & development of a person’s life/career. You will always experience risky situations when entering into a new stage of life. These situations exploits a person’s true character and makes them aware of their edge. It is easy for someone to manipulate their character when they are in a circumstance favorable to them, but how you react to adversity and uncomfortable situations defines who you truly are. My whole life and career is predicated by risk taking and knowing not every risk comes with the intended reward.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I currently work as a financial analyst for a Publicly Traded Company in the mortgage industry. I landed this position due to a recommendation by my previous employer who was fond of my work and knew I’d be an asset to the company. It was the furthest thing from easy, just like any other success stories, but very humbling and an eye opening experience. I overcame the challenges by remaining level headed and letting my emotions overwhelm me. Prayer and meditation also played an integral role. I’ve learned that you can not become successful with failing multiple times, and never seek words of encouragement but by accepting of them. I want the world to know there are alternative ways to achieve the goal desired and to be yourself day in and day out. Too many people are looking for love and acceptance from people who hold little value to them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely taking them to Harris’ House of Heroes, top 1 wings in the city. Probably pull up on some locally owned food spots like Winfield, Rudy’s, Gus Chicken, etc. Six Flags is most certainly a spot I would take them to. Maybe hit a hiking trail or a skate park in Lewisville. Other than those, just depends on what the city is offering on the given date. I’d also take them to some social spots like STIRR, Clutch, and Bitter End. Lastly, they will need to experience how Sunday funday is like in Dallas.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, God and my family has been my biggest contributors to my success. Next, I would have to shine some recognition on the Paradigm Collective, which is made up of some close friends and previous business partners. The book “The Way of the Superior Man” has helped me tremendously on my journey and continue to read it periodically when I need clarity on certain situations. Lastly, the interactions I have with people who are fans of my work encourages me to continue going even when I feel uninspired.
