Meet Keyvante | Music Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keyvante and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keyvante, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
In my view, art is a way to express my thoughts through my artistic form and creations, allowing me to explore the world and my own life. Growing up in an artistic family, I was immersed in creativity. Which naturally shaped my path. For me is always been about finding out who I am, communicating with my inner world, and making connections not only with myself but with others as well. This is the reason why I love art and choose to pursue it as a career. I’ve always wanted to just do something I enjoy the rest of my life and I found out my creative endeavors were something I never got tired of.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is my ability to evoke emotion through my music. and being able to touch the people. I got where I am today with strong work ethic and dedication. Has the journey been easy? No. This journey hasn’t been easy at all, but it’s been worth it. I’ve overcome adversity, loss of loved ones, feeling like I wasn’t good enough at times, God putting me in uncomfortable situations, so that I can lean on HIM when times get hard, still working a 9 to 5 at the same time pushing my music etc. I’ve learned to maintain my faith in God during those low moments in my life and career. “Hard times build character” .

I encourage every artist/creative keep pushing and bet on themselves. I’d like the world to know that as an artist, my job is to develop lasting client relationships, engage conversation and INSPIRE. I am anything, but ordinary.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s a good question because there’s still places I have yet been to myself, But staying in the city of Dallas, there’s tons of places to visit and explore. But if I had to choose, far as in food I would say Aunt Irene’s Kitchen or Luckys Hamburgers, it’ll change your Life, Yadigg!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d say shoutout to my peers. The people that I met along the journey who not only helped me, but gave advice when needed etc. Those conversations with them people helped me figure out what I wanted to do and that doing what I love was more important than doing what others thought was best for me. And to my family & friends who have inspired me to be a better creative watching them/or them speaking life over me. Words have power! So I’m forever blessed.
