Hi Keokuk, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My decision to start a business was driven by a desire to empower individuals with the freedom, cleanliness, and confidence that comes from having a well-organized and beautiful living space. To achieve this, I pursued education and training to ensure that I could provide effective methods and tools to my clients. My ultimate goal is to reach over 5 million households through my lifestyle, and I am proud to have already made a positive impact on over 5,500 people in the DFW, Houston, and Austin areas through my services in organization, staging, and interior design.
Hiring me has resulted in significant long-term savings for my clients. By optimizing their space, I create an environment that enhances property value and stability, as studies have shown that well-designed spaces encourage homeowners to stay in their homes for longer, providing a strong return on investment.

The staging part of the business:
Our home staging services, encompassing both vacant and occupied properties, have yielded substantial benefits for our business. I’ve had the opportunity to demonstrate my talents, materialize my imaginative visions, and contribute to the accelerated sale of homes at optimized margins.
The interior design part of the business:
This process has allowed me to elevate my abilities as a business and designer, permitting me to pursue my long-standing ambition of utilizing color patterns, prints, and decor on a monthly basis. Creating mood boards and revamping the design of clients’ homes has been a truly memorable experience, providing me with the opportunity to work on high-end projects that I never thought I would be able to work on.
The influencer and content creator process:
Transitioning into a content creator has been a dualistic experience, fraught with obstacles and filled with satisfaction. As I continue to evolve, this shift grants me increased visibility among both existing and prospective clientele.
By being recognized as an influencer, I am presented with new opportunities and positioned alongside notable industry leaders.
So in short starting a business was a huge leap of faith and trust and I’m glad I did it.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a pharmacy graduate from Xavier University in New Orleans, I pursued a career in the field, but eventually realized that it wasn’t my true calling. Working for Walgreens provided financial stability, but left me feeling exhausted and trapped. I turned to prayer and was led to University of Phoenix, where I advanced from Admissions to Business Development and then Regional Manager, discovering a passion for business along the way. However, I still lacked time, which led me to create ‘Gifted Errand Runners,’ a home-based business that helped others save time. This venture eventually evolved into ‘Get Organized by Key,’ an organization business that felt like home and allowed me to achieve my dream of starting and growing a business. Despite the challenges, I persevered and have been in business since 2009, proving that anyone can achieve their goals with determination and hard work.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Basketball and our beloved Mavericks! So we will definitely head to American Airlines and catch a game.
