We had the good fortune of connecting with Kennyraccs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kennyraccs, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose a career as an entrepreneur/ creative because I feel that you can gain more by pouring and investing into yourself rather than investing into a company that will replace you quicker than they hired you. I also like the freedom to be able to just do what I want on my own terms

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Music was always something that worked as therapy to me when things aren’t going right. Getting to where I am now people from my home city look at me like I’ve done something great, but I still feel the need to do way more. Once I learned that nobody actually cares what you been through, I have approached everything with a full head of steam. Investing in yourself is a risk that will pay off in a large fashion if you work very hard. My clothing brand is called PAID MERCH. The meaning behind the brand is to literally get paid. It isn’t necessarily a financial thing but more of a mental aspect. Everyday you wake up u should be determined, motivated, and eager to become the best version of yourself. That grind is what I call getting “PAID”. Be open mindind and never be to cocky to listen. You may learn something from someone that can literally take you to the next level

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It would be spontaneous. We are all different so I would let them pick. I can literally have fun doing whatever. It doesnt matter. I just live life to the fullest

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely didn’t get this far alone. My family has been a great support system along with my camera man Chubu, and my producer Jo $upreme. They have allowed me start producing mass content. I also would say my engineer was very instrumental. Sam has been with me from the beginning and he pushes me to be the best I can be as an artist
