We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenny McClure and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenny, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It’s what we love to do and we are good at it. 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
With Chasing Texas our goal is to bring a little joy into someones life while doing what we love. Whether it’s a Wedding Reception, Corporate Event, Concert Venue or a Private Party we treat our clients with the upmost respect and give 100% to our performance. We have spent many years developing our craft and musicianship and have played hundreds of venues so our experience is vast and that gives us an advantage over many other bands. 2020 has been a devastating year because of the COVID Pandemic, we were set to have our best year ever and then the Virus hit. Our customers/venues suffered the most so we made a decision to offer 1/2 price and even free shows on a couple of occasions to the hardest hit venues to do our small part in aiding these businesses to recover. Moving ahead we look forward to building our customer base and continue to write new music and add many new cover songs for our customers to choose from and enjoy. We would love to take our band to the next level, we are a little over 6 years into this project and we are just starting to receive some hard earned recognition. Bottom line is and has always been to enjoy ourselves and for our fans to have a great time at our shows.
