We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendall Sandlin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kendall, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted to open a Cookie Co. Franchise because we love the product. Our cookies are made with real eggs, real sugar, real butter. When you come to Cookie Co. you are getting the most homemade cookie you can get. Cookie Co. offers a rotating menu with 3 weekly staples including chocolate chip, frosted sugar, and our gluten friendly Monster cookie. 3 other cookies rotate each week, so there are always 6 cookies to choose from and always something new! I wanted to open up a location in Frisco because this is my home town. I want to help people create memories with cookies!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our cookies are big, delicious, and made with real ingredients. We are excited for more people to learn about our store and try our cookies. We’ve learned many lessons along the way. We’ve learned how many hours it takes to start a business and have been pushed out of our comfort zone. It has been a great experience to grow and learn new things along the way. We have enjoyed getting out in the community and meeting so many great people. We hope to do more community events and catering.

Perry and I are young entrepreneurs who have always wanted to get into franchises. I (Kendall) always baked and had bakery businesses from home, and Perry has worked in sales. We put two and two together and opened a Cookie Co. It has been so fun working together.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Frisco is filled with so many fun things! Of course Cookie Co!!

The Frisco Star is a great place for food and fun!

The area has great food shopping at legacy west.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
