We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelly Kasle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelly, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Ever since I was a child, people have asked me, “Why are you the way you are? How do you do all that you do?” I have always had an inherent, insatiable drive to learn, do and achieve while being extremely sensitive and artistic, but no one could explain to me WHY.

That is, until I found Astrology and Human Design.

Astrology came to me when I was searching for answers during a major life crisis.

Prior to COVID, I devoted my life to classical music. I was happily living in Los Angeles and had built a successful career as a freelance performer, music educator and events producer.

In the span of just a few months, everything I had built was in ruins and my life was turned upside down. My dad died unexpectedly. I was forced out of the entertainment industry for refusing to take the COVID vaccine and lost the majority of my friends and colleagues for my decision. Once it was clear I wouldn’t be allowed to work in entertainment for the foreseeable future, I made a momentary decision to move across the country back to Texas to be close to family and take time off to grieve the loss of my Dad.

No amount of subconscious reprogramming or “I create my reality” manifestation work could explain the extremity of this situation, so I went searching for answers.

Why did this happen and where do I even begin to rebuild from here? This was the first time in my life I didn’t know what I wanted.

The world was still a mess from COVID, so my options for exploring new careers seemed severely limited. Really, everything felt limited.

Astrology was already in my energetic field, though you couldn’t have convinced me it would become my new career. At the end of 2019 I started watching David Palmer, the Leo King’s Daily Horoscope videos and popular Monday night YouTube show, Deep Love Tarot. David was warning people that HUGE changes were coming in the world, including ‘a plague.’ Once the events he had accurately predicted came true, I was intrigued.

If David could predict world events with extreme precision using astrology, what could astrology show me about my own life?

With the abundance of time I now had, I dug into my charts and started studying as if I was getting a degree in Astrology. I saw all of my personality traits, likes, dislikes, motivations, tendencies, preferences, gifts and abilities in my Natal Birth Chart.

Then, I went back through my life and was able to trace ALL of my major life events to major planetary alignments.

Had I studied astrology before 2021, I would have known that COVID coincided with my Saturn Return and would have prepared for this time period very differently. In my case, Saturn sits in the 8th House of death and major transformation. In Aquarius in a stellium with Mars and Venus, it signifies a mission to serve humanity by helping people evolve towards the future with drive, courage and love.

I was having a phoenix moment, dying and being reborn from the ashes. God had a plan for me much bigger than I could imagine. The universe was clearing my plate to prepare me for the big mission that required a whole new version of me.

To test the accuracy of this divine art and science, I started doing readings for friends and people I’d meet at parties or gatherings. Guess what happened…

The results were spot on. I was shocked at the accuracy.

I could describe a person’s personality and major life themes in detail, including parts I didn’t know. Then, we’d look at a time period of their life we’d never spoken about and I’d accurately recount what had happened and how they were feeling during the event.

We’d discuss what they were currently manifesting, and I would give advice on how to utilize their strengths and work through challenges or limiting beliefs based on their chart.

At the end of the reading, I’d give them a summary of possible events for the upcoming three to six months and my advice on how to utilize the energies of the transits most effectively.

A few months later, I started getting phone calls and text messages from everyone I had done readings for, “Remember that thing you told me could happen on this date?! It happened!! I took your advice and it worked!”

In only a few months of doing astrology for fun, I was already having a positive impact on people’s lives. Additionally, I gained a better understanding of myself, my shadows to be consciously aware of and confirmation on what kind of work and lifestyle would make me truly happy.

The more readings I did and the more I learned about psychology and undeniable patterns of world events and cultural shifts with planetary motion in my astrology studies, the more I loved the work. Plus, I received feedback in most readings that I had a natural talent and gift for it.

I’ve always been an entrepreneur, so I approached building this business in the same way I built my freelance career in LA. Each speaking event or client led to the next. With time, patience and consistent effort, eventually that network grows exponentially into a full time career.

My name is Kelly Kasle (pronounced castle, but spelled funny).

I’ve had an adventurous career journey and carried many titles for those activities, but at the core of my work…

I help people understand who they are, why they are here and how they are specifically designed to navigate life’s challenges and opportunities.

Especially in times of transition, spiritual awakenings and big life changes.

My tools may seem ‘esoteric,’ but at the end of the day… THEY WORK.

My astrology business includes working with private clients and corporate teams, teaching in-person workshops and speaking engagements.

I work with multiple systems including astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys and Cards of Destiny.

At my core I am a teacher, so one of my favorite parts of my job as an astrologer is teaching in-person workshops. I love watching people experience what astrology is truly about, usually for the first time!

In building this business, I have been surprised that about 60% of my private clients are male entrepreneurs between the ages of 28 – 45, while 90% of workshop and lecture attendees are women.

Men who are serious about building successful businesses must have heard J.P. Morgan’s famous quote, “Anyone can be a millionaire, but to become a billionaire you need an astrologer.”

It’s interesting to look back now and see how my music career set me up perfectly to be an astrologer. I could dedicate an entire article to this statement, but in short, teaching 11-18 yr olds for a decade, understanding how the brain works, develops and processes information, all the years I dedicated to my own self development and spiritual growth, taking the entrepreneurial path of building a full time freelance career in Los Angeles and consulting for artists and arts organizations was the perfect education to become a professional astrologer.

And it may be fun for people to know that I am still working as a professional classical musician. I started playing the bassoon at 11 and turned it into a career. During my time in Los Angeles I built a full time freelance career performing, teaching and producing all kinds of events from concerts, music festivals to music videos.

You can read more about my music career on my LinkedIn Page or in this article.

When I relocated to Dallas I set up a private teaching studio and continue to teach private bassoon lessons, masterclasses and music theory.

My relationship with music is evolving into a new era including singing and writing music. I’m excited to see where it takes me next!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So many friends text me as they are changing planes at DFW, “Hey I’m in Dallas! Sort of… lol”

I wish more people knew that Dallas is a diverse city full of art, great food and entertainment.
If they stayed for a weekend to hang out in the summer, we’d start the day with a walk, run or bike ride at White Rock Lake before it gets too hot.

Followed by brunch at Dream Cafe or Ascension Coffee.

I love art galleries, so to get out of the heat for a few hours I’d take a fellow art lover either gallery hopping around the Design District or the Dallas Museum and Nasher Sculpture Center. Anyone who hasn’t visited Dallas should stop by The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza to see the famous spot of JFK’s assassination.

We’d take an afternoon nap in the sun at a pool. Someone’s always hosting pool parties in the summer!

Finally, I’d let my friend choose what they felt for dinner. Tex-mex and the best margaritas and queso in town at my favorite patio at Gloria’s on Lower Greenville. Ziziki’s Mediterranean in the Knox Henderson neighborhood. Eno’s Pizza in Bishop Arts. Or BBQ at a number of great spots! All three neighborhoods are fun to walk around for a post-dinner stroll.

Dallas gets great performers coming through, so we’d end the night with music. There’s always a good show to go to. Or my favorite live sport is hockey, so we’d definitely catch a hockey game during the season.

For shopping lovers, North Park Mall is one of the nicest malls in the country. Morning yoga, an afternoon of shopping followed by dinner at Eataly makes for a pretty great Sunday.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to thank my astrology teacher David Palmer, the Leo King, for teaching me how to be a great astrologer and showing me that it’s possible to build a successful career with this esoteric art form.

I’d also like to thank my mom and my grandmother for helping me through this ginormous life transition. I couldn’t have started over without these two incredible women!

And lastly I’d like to thank the women at Le Sol House for giving me a chance and lots of opportunities in my first year of business. They have been my biggest cheerleaders this year! I am immensely grateful for their support.
