We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaylee Murray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaylee, what role has risk played in your life or career?
RISK TAKING! Absolutely not.. not me. I’ve always played it safe but this past year has taught me that things never go as planned. Tomorrow is never promised, start the business, do something that brings YOU joy! Just when I start to doubt myself God always shows up in a BIG way and has continuously brought me some of the most amazing clients!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I created Saving Grace Esthetics out of pure passion for wanting to help people achieve their skin goals with a HydraFacial. A HydraFacial is one of the most powerful, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatments available today. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection that removes dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums into the skin.

I have been an Esthetician for a little over 10 years. I took time off after we had our son and fell into the food manufacturing industry during that time and lost touch with the esthetics business. While I love the food industry, I still felt like something was missing. It was in 2021 when I just kept praying asking God to bring me something that would spark that passion that I needed. It wasn’t until a couple months later that I got a text from a good friend, who I had gone to Aveda with, that she was moving into a larger building and needed help performing all of the HydraFacial treatments. It took me almost a year to finally agree. I am so grateful for her for being so persistent and sharing her knowledge to train me. I was about 4 months in when she decided to take some time off herself and no longer have the studio. Something kept tugging at my heart to start a business. I was getting ready for bed one night when I told my husband I am going to open up my own studio and offer HydraFacial treatments. This vision was NEVER something I saw for myself. Something about this just felt so right in my heart and everything just started falling into place. I felt that this was the calling of God chasing me down. I am so thankful that my prayers were answered! Starting my own beauty business truly was the missing puzzle piece.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My success truly comes from God, my favorite quote from Sarah Jakes Roberts says “The moment that you step into that place, God is going to reveal why it had to be you who released the grace that leads to transformation! It’s time to MOVE, It’s time to GROW, and time to release the ministry that is down on the inside of you. Sometimes God will use your gift to help you serve the ministry, the gift is just a disguise for the ministry. God says that the gift that I gave you is an authentic anointing that only rests on you. There is a NEED on the other side of your YES, I don’t know how it is going to get done but GOD said MOVE so I am moving!” This quote speaks so much to me because I trust no matter where I go that God is making my crooked paths straight and am so grateful that I can share this to encourage others to keep going!
My husband, son and my momma!! I am grateful for all that they have done to help me get this business up and running. It takes a village and I am so thankful to have them standing beside me cheering me on!

You know the saying.. “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”
Not only am I the owner of Saving Grace Esthetics, a wife and mom, I am also the Director of Sales & Marketing for ZUBI’S, plant-based, woman- and minority-owned food company featuring certified organic, top 8 allergen-free Latin dips & salsa. I have always had a passion for beauty and food.. And I am blessed to get the best of both worlds. The CEO & Founder of ZUBI’S, Sarah Zubiate, is truly one of a kind! She has encouraged me to start this business and pursue my passion in the beauty industry all while still giving me the opportunity to help grow ZUBI’S, even coming in to get a HydraFacial while we have business meetings. We are phenomenal multi-taskers and I think that is why it just works!
