We had the good fortune of connecting with KASVENTURES Sosa Family and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi KASVENTURES, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
As first time parents, I believe that exposing our baby to the activities and experiences that we are accustomed to is extremely important. Just because we had our baby it did not mean that we stopped going out to festivals, traveling, road trips, restaurants, etc. From the moment it was safe to go out, we have constantly exposed our baby to the world. He is 1 year old and has seen more and done more than what the average adult has done in their adult life. From road trips, festivals, vacations and soon 3 international flights, I think that us exposing our baby to the world is the most important thing one can do as a parent. You child will grow up hungry to learn more, experience more, work harder to achieve goals and appreciate life. Our goal is for our child to one day be a grown up and appreciate life the way his parents appreciate life as well. Every adventure is documented in our social media sites under kasventures in case you want to take a look and be inspired to do the same. You don’t have to have children to experience what we do, you can do the same without kids too!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are teachers by profession but we love to travel and inspire others to experience new things. I am a youtube video creator that gets better with every video and at the same time we are starting our own travel agency to help others with their goals of traveling and experiencing new things. It has not been easy to get to where we are today, it has been 2 years of building a brand and we are barely starting. I feel like we still need one more year of work before we even start seeing profits but at the end I feel like it will all be worth it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
What an amazing question, this is exactly what we do. We advice people on things to do locally or abroad and it gives us so much satisfaction to do so because we know that at the end of the day, the experiences people gain from traveling are the most valuable things one can experience in this lifetime. So to answer this question, you first take them to Downtown Dallas for a self guided tour of the historic district. Start by visiting Pioneer Park and take some amazing photos with the longhorn and cattle statues. After that take a short walk to the Old Red Museum and if you are lucky, go inside and check it out. After that, walk to the JFK memorial behind the Old Red Museum. Read the history behind the memorial and take some pictures too. From there, walk to the 6th Floor Museum and take a tour of the infamous place where JFK was assassinated. Once you are done with that, walk or uber to the iconic Reunion tower and go up to the top level for some amazing views of the city. Half a day has gone by so from there drive about 45 minutes to the historical Fort Worth Stockyards and immerse yourself in some authentic Texas Wild West scenes. You will see everything from cowboys, longhorns, steam engine trains, actual rodeo, horses, chariots and more. Day one is done. Day two, visit the famous AT& T stadium and the Rangers Stadium, make it a sports day and visit all the sports arenas this awesome city has to offer. Day 3, have lunch at the Downtown AT&T district, there are so many cool things to see here that you can easily spend half a day here. Visit Perot Museum and the History Museum of Dallas so you can stay cool and at the same time be informed of some amazing things that have happened in this city. This region has so many more things you can experience that a week would not be enough. You have the downtown aquarium, the arboretum, Legacy Hall in Frisco, Plano, Grapevine, Rooftop bars, parks, higland park, Katy trails, and more.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly, I want to give a shout out to my wife because without her, the dream of inspiring others, having a family, pushing our family to be better, and being a hard working father, would not be possible if it was not for her.
