Meet Kaitlynn Gutierrez

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaitlynn Gutierrez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaitlynn, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I personally think there is no success without taking a risk. My husband has risked so much for me to be able to have my own business and to put my heart into it full time!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Creative, I own my own business Flawless By Kaitt. I’m a Charcuterie Designer and a Brand Marketing Manager!
Getting to where I am today was not easy and there are days that are still challenging. With this being my only source of income it’s been challenging everyday to make ends meet. I’m not originally from DFW and starting a business in a city that you know on one in can be challenging. I learned to lean on my faith and trust that the right clients would find me. Everyday is a victory that I have to be grateful for. The opportunities that come my way I don’t take lightly I’m very grateful for the chance to not only have my own business but also succeed in ways unexplainable. The heart and passion behind Flawless By Kaitt came from me needing to let out my creativity. I always had corporate job after corporate job and never felt appreciated for my hard work and dedication. I knew I had more to offer but was always limited based off my “educational background” , so I chose to rise up and challenge my self to take everything I’ve learned through working in different positions & push myself to be the best version of me I could be.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love taking family & friends to the Stock yards either to experience the day time or even the night life there is always something to do! Live music and family fun at second rodeo or line dancing at the world’s largest honka -tonk Billy Bobs!
They have to experience the Fort Worth Zoo it’s truly one of the best!
If there’s a lot of us family style eating at the original babes chicken in Roanoke is always a hit!
Saturday evenings are community nights and we enjoy hosting people at our home for The Chat FW Community nights where we hang out worship together and just enjoy authentic conversation!
Sundays are made for Social Sundays with Social Dallas Church. Pastor Robert & Taylor Madu do such a great job at creating such an organic and energetic community they really make you feel at home!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Husband! He goes above and beyond to provide for our family, he is always encouraging me to follow my dreams and never give up on my passions
