Meet Justin Franklin | Producer/DJ

We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Franklin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor would be always being in the eye of the public/media. I’ve always had the thought process of being in the public eye enough to where people start looking into me and my music. I’m always either posting on social media about my music or physically being out in public and talking to people. Keeping me in their minds has always been a great tactic for me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a music producer here in Dallas that mainly producer Electronic Dance Music. I try to blend heavy bass drops with beautiful melodic harmonies and tones to it. I recently just released my latest 4 track Ep called “BLUE SKIES”, which I’m really proud of. The road to success is never easy, and my road was no exception to that rule. Learning the rules of this industry, moving back to Texas and starting back at square one, all the no’s I’ve been given, having to earn grow my reputation in the area and many have been challenges in my journey. the biggest lesson I’ve learned though those challenges is that you can’t do it all on your own. You will need help at some point and that’s okay. If it wasn’t for several promotion groups along with my friends family and fans, I’d be nowhere near where I am now. Lastly, I’d want the world to know that my brand, music, and sets at my shows are all about taking you on a journey through the vibrations and frequencies we call music, so be prepared when you see my sets!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
my favorite spots span all across the DFW metroplex! food wise we would go to Meat U Anywhere in grapevine, Cris and John in Richardson and touchy’s tacos in Frisco! great places to hangout would definitely be the galleria/northpark malls, the Green Elephant, and Desert racer all in Dallas. lastly the places to site see would be the water garden out in Fort Worth, the rooftop bars in Deep Ellum and finally reunion town in downtown!
