We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Ford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was “Do it big and have fun doing it”. I remember when I started I wasn’t worried too much bout the risk, I saw people like Nipsey Hussle, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James & other successful entrepreneurs who were exapmes & who believed in a product that represented them and represented something that reflected their morals & values.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What I want the world to know is that my brand separates itself from the others because it’s uniqueness & creative nature. It has a story that I’m sure relates to some other stories but has been birth from a different story and enduring process achieving high levels of success. The greatest thing about it also is that the journey hasn’t stopped and there’s unlimited potential that we’ll achieve, even today because one of the major things I’ve learned along this journey from our team is that no one can steal your dream away from you as long as you KNOW that dream is for you. John Maxwell, who is perhaps the most phenomenal teacher of leadership, said “Dreams don’t work unless you do” and that speaks a thousand words for me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting from out of town and I took him to visit some places in Dallas our 1st spot would definitely be somewhere involving food, of course hitting the gym would be a necessity as well. Cindi’s NY Deli & diner off of North Central Expwy & Royal Ln would honestly be the main place we’d go to eat majority of the trip because it has so many great options to choose; from the Banana Nut Pancakes to the large, fluffy and fantastic biscuits & gravy they pretty much have it all. Doing some hiking at the Cedar Ridge Preserve would also be somewhere to visit because of the beautiful scenery with the hike, the green smell of nature, it includes a view where you could see over the preserve, a lounge and lake view almost like a 1st date if you’re with someone who loves nature. Then I would introduce him to my business team of course since we have so many phenomenal winners who win in their own life through different ventures but we all have one purpose to our team which I love about it the most. That list of places could go on and on about other places and things to do as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
1st I would love to give all the glory to my Lord & Savior, I wouldn’t have been offered this opportunity and been here in life without him. 2nd I definitely give all of the credit to our amazing leadership team LTD, who consists of my personal coaches and mentors alongside other entrepreneurs who I partner with that who share their stories on how they succeeded in life and what they had to overcome. This team has also offered me great books to read to develop a better mentality to change my perspective on life. Books like The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, Live the Dream by Larry Winters and more that I could go on and on about. Of course my family as well, my grandmother, mother and my 2 sisters for being great support system as well.
