We had the good fortune of connecting with Jonathan Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jonathan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Without risk there would be no success. I had to stop attending school in person which meant not seeing my friends to be able to peruse my dreams but after that time passed I was able to complete my required hours for my barber license and now have a career
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My first real job was cutting at a barber shop when I was 16 only on the weekends. I did not have a license yet so the shop owners told me to finish up barber school and I would have my spot back.
It was tough because I did lose a couple clients and there was a time where I was done with school but didn’t have my license yet to cut at the shop so I had to travel to cut my clients hair
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For sure go to the lake and hang out there and check out any fancy restaurants in the area
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Being able to do this since I was 15 and now having a career at such a young age my parents did play a huge role in all of this but nothing would be possible without the man upstairs!!
