We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnny Reed IV and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnny, how do you think about risk?
I think risk taking is one of the most scary decisions anyone can make. “Is it worth taking the risk” is the question. I had to ask myself, “What if it is”? I’m in the middle of a risk taking decision right now and I’m definitely willing to take that risk, it wasn’t an easy decision but I would bet on myself over anyone else any day of the week. It’s easier said than done but we wouldn’t be here if our ancestors didn’t take risk, and that was for the future. What about now?? It’s this decision making that can determine the difference between your right now and your forever after all!!!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a model but also a aspiring actor. This is my first gig and the experience it nothing but amazing. This Short Film is filmed out of New Orleans about a teenager battling between love from his sexually abused girlfriend and his best friend Trey, whose in the streets. I also plans on jump starting my Skin Care Business this year. I will be making homemade Glowing Skin Serums, Glowing Skin Tea, Skin Toners, Witch Hazels, and etc.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well first I would recommend them to not come to Louisiana but i guess I would take her to a Botanical Garden, Art Museums, and maybe a picnic in the park. As far as eating I would take her to this Jamaican Bar where they do R&B nights.
