We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnny Geter III and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Johnny, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I just wanted to impact as many people as possible just didn’t know where to start. So I went with my gift and passion which is health & fitness! After I figured that out I just went for it without any hesitation. Following those two has opened many doors for me I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
– I own 2 companies. 1 is called FitnFine where I do my 1on1s. And I own a franchise with a company called Camp Gladiator where I run outdoor fit camps! – My consistent energy and passion towards my clients, shows the magnitude of how much I care for their goals like they’re mine. What really sets me apart even more is that I stick with what I know and I keep it simple. A curl is a curl and a squat is a squat. Keep it simple. – Pouring heavily into my very first clients encouraged them to talk to their friends and family so on and so forth. With my franchise I treat each camper (client) as if they’re my own, regardless is they have signed up to go BOLD (Train) or not. (Luke 16:10). This definitely was not. I consistently and still do stay in prayer as well as write in my journal. Also paying close attention to the small details that add up to bigger problems. Lastly always being creative and innovative to catch potential clients attention.
– Just because the seeds I planted are sprouting doesn’t mean stop pouring and preparing for another harvest.
– I don’t want to world to know me I want them see Jesus through me. If they see me they see Him. That’s all I want, nothing else matters.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would first of course visits the heart of Dallas which is Klyde Warren Park. Have a picnic there, enjoy the scenery and people around that area. As always visit my family! I love golfing so we may have to slide to Top Golf or The Driving Range. Six Flags is definitely a must! Above all we’re fasho going to church! We will hit up some of my favorite spots like Burger Island, Torchys, Tenders, Flying Fish, Benihana’s, Fogo De Chõa, and Sushi Go.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely God. Without Him I am truly nothing!
