We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Laregina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, why did you pursue a creative career?
My mom was an artist in every way. I believe I have those same talents and incorporating them in my hobbies and career is putting that to use. God says we are to not hide out talents and I feel that’s for our sakes as well as helping others.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my path in Tennessee where I went to school and began doing professional makeup applications for bridal parties and events along with basic esthetic services. I was trained by an artist that worked in Hollywood and then another that was self taught. They both were amazing and had different approaches. Once moving back to Houston Texas for family I was very fortunate to find a position that allowed me to work in the medical spa setting. This allowed me to broaden my scope of services that I love performing. I then moved to Dallas where I started at Vitalize Medical Spa. Mary Graff allowed me to take responsibility with pretty much all aspects of the Spa. We always are looking for innovative treatments to help grow our business and help others to feel good. I am also beginning nursing school to even further my skills.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Star where there is a little bit of everything! Stopping for those amazing biscuits at Tupelo honey, doing some shopping, maybe hop over to legacy for dinner and more shopping. There are some good cider arcades here as well. And of course Vitalize Medical Spa.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
