My Thought Process Behind Starting The Divine Women Institute

The Divine Women Institute was born out of my own journey of healing, transformation, and spiritual awakening. I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to start a ministry—it was something God placed on my heart after leading me through deep struggles and showing me the power of His redemption.

1. Recognizing the Need – My Own Healing Journey
For years, I battled low self-esteem, toxic relationships, addiction, and feelings of unworthiness. I knew what it was like to feel broken, rejected, and uncertain of my purpose. But when I cried out to God, He not only rescued me—He gave me a new identity, a renewed mind, and a transformed heart.

As I healed, I started noticing so many other women silently struggling with the same battles I had faced. I met women who felt stuck in toxic cycles, lost in their pain, or unworthy of God’s love. And I thought, “How many women out there are waiting for someone to tell them they are chosen, loved, and called for more?”

That’s when I realized God didn’t just heal me for me—He healed me so I could help set others free.

2. Turning My Testimony Into a Movement
God made it clear that my struggles weren’t wasted. My testimony was my ministry. Everything I had been through—the pain, the lessons, the breakthroughs—was preparing me to guide other women through their own journey of healing.

I knew women needed a safe, faith-filled space where they could:

My Journey & The Birth of the Divine Women Institute

Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. My journey was filled with battles—low self-esteem, toxic relationships, anxiety, and addiction. For years, I searched for validation in all the wrong places until I surrendered to God and discovered my true identity in Christ.

Once I realized that I was Royalty in God’s Kingdom, my entire life changed. I knew that I wasn’t just meant to survive—I was meant to thrive and help other women do the same. That’s when God placed it on my heart to start The Divine Women Institute—to create a safe, faith-driven space where women can heal, grow, and step into their divine purpose.

Overcoming Challenges & Lessons Learned

Starting and growing a faith-based business wasn’t easy. There were moments of doubt, financial struggles, and seasons where I wondered if I was truly making an impact. But through every challenge, God reminded me that this mission is bigger than me.

💜 Lesson 1: Obedience brings blessings. When God calls you, He will equip you. I had to learn to trust Him fully and take steps in faith even when I couldn’t see the full picture.
💜 Lesson 2: True transformation requires surrender. Helping women heal isn’t just about motivation—it’s about teaching them to surrender to God and let Him do the deep, inner work.
💜 Lesson 3: Community is everything. We are not meant to do life alone. That’s why The Divine Women Institute is built on sisterhood, mentorship, and lifting each other up.

Without God, Jesus Christ and my mother Shante, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Every victory, every breakthrough, and every transformation in my life is because of God’s grace, mercy, and unwavering love. It was God who pulled me out of my darkest moments, who healed my brokenness, and who gave me a new identity and purpose. When I was lost, He found me. When I was weak, He strengthened me. When I felt unworthy, He reminded me that I am His daughter, chosen and loved.

The Word of God has been my foundation, my guide, and my source of wisdom. Scriptures like Jeremiah 29:11 (“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord…”) and Romans 8:28 (“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…”) have carried me through seasons of doubt and hardship.

I also give thanks to Jesus Christ, who not only saved me but taught me the true meaning of love, sacrifice, and redemption. Through His example, I have learned to deny myself daily, pick up my cross, and follow Him with unwavering faith. It is because of Jesus that I now walk in freedom, boldness, and divine purpose, and I am forever grateful for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in every step of my journey.

Everything I do—the Divine Women Institute, my books, my coaching, my speaking engagements—is not about me; it’s about glorifying God and leading other women to Him. If I am successful, it is because I have surrendered my life to the One who holds it all together.
