We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Boniol and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I saw gaps in conventional care.
My experience in pediatric nursing showed me that while traditional medicine is essential, it often misses the root causes of chronic issues in children—things like gut health, environmental triggers, nutrition, and stress.

I wanted more time and connection.
I was tired of rushed visits and checklists. I wanted to build deep relationships with families, giving them the space to be heard, and the time to be fully understood.

I believe in root cause medicine.
Functional medicine offers a deeper lens. I wanted to bring that to pediatrics—looking at how the gut, immune system, environment, and lifestyle all interact and impact a child’s development and long-term health.

I value parental intuition and choice.
I created a space where parents feel empowered—not judged—and are supported in making informed decisions for their children’s health.

I want to practice with integrity.
Rather than being bound by insurance-driven protocols or third-party charting, I envisioned a practice built on transparency, trust, and true healing.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created my functional pediatric practice to offer a different kind of care—one that looks beyond symptoms to find the root causes of a child’s health challenges. I focus on understanding the whole child: their nutrition, environment, gut health, immune system, and emotional well-being.

I believe that parents deserve time, partnership, and transparency when it comes to their children’s health. That’s why I take an individualized, family-centered approach—spending more time with each family, listening closely, and building care plans that support long-term wellness, not just short-term fixes.

I don’t accept insurance so that I can protect the privacy of your child’s medical choices and spend more meaningful time with each family—free from third-party limitations. My goal is to create a sanctuary of support where parents feel empowered, heard, and never rushed.

I chose this path because I believe kids thrive when we address the root causes, support the body’s natural ability to heal, and walk alongside parents as allies in their child’s journey to health.

The name Full Quiver Wellness Sanctuary is inspired by Psalm 127: ‘Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.’

I chose this name because I believe children are a gift—full of potential, purpose, and promise. My practice is built on the belief that each child is uniquely designed, and it’s a sacred privilege to support their growth and healing.

The word sanctuary reflects the safe, nurturing space I’ve created for families—a place where parents are heard, children are seen, and health is approached holistically. Full Quiver is both a reflection of my faith and a reminder of the deep value I place on each family I serve.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I were planning a perfect day with my best friend in Dallas, I’d start with brunch or dinner at Origin Kitchen and Bar in the Knox/Henderson area. I love that their menu is fresh, seasonal, and mostly gluten-free, with thoughtful options that feel both elevated and approachable. Whether we’re sipping something light at brunch or settling into dinner with their Bacon Wrapped Texas Quail, it always feels special but not stuffy. Afterward, we’d head to one of Dallas’s iconic live music venues—maybe the House of Blues for a high-energy show, or The Kessler Theater for something more intimate and eclectic. If we’re feeling the Deep Ellum vibe, Trees or The Bomb Factory would be perfect for catching a local or touring band. For a more laid-back evening, The Rustic offers great music with a Texas feel and an open-air setting that’s perfect for relaxing and catching up.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mentors and colleagues who shared their knowledge, experience, and encouragement.

The parents who trusted me with their children’s health. The kids who taught me resilience, curiosity, and the value of truly listening. Their outcomes and gratitude fueled my drive and reinforced my calling.

Family, friends, and loved ones who supported my vision—The ones who listened to my dreams, my frustrations, and my late-night brainstorming.

My time in conventional medicine, my own health journey, and even early failures gave me insight, grit, and clarity about what kind of provider—and person—I wanted to be.
