We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy P. Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy P., we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After 20 years in the Army, I had traveled the world and seen so much but I always wanted to help people when it came to Real Estate. When I finished my service in the Army, I used my G.I. bill and finally got my real estate license to live my dream of helping people and partnering with Veterans Real Estate Partners made that dream come true.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When I have friends and family come visit there are a couple of must-see spots on the schedule. First, we need to take a trip to the Heard Museum’s Exhibits, Wildlife Sanctuary, having three young kids this seasonal pass it a great value and the kids absolutely love going there. After a day of seeing animals and the hot Texas sun nothing tastes better than a cold beer at Tupps Brewery as a lover of dark beer this place always hits the spot.
The next day I always take friends and family downtown to see the JFK Museum and the Dallas cattle drive sculptures. On the way home we always stop by BBQ Chicken in Spring Creek for Chimaek (Korean for chicken and beer). Having a Korean wife and multicultural kids I get to experience so much more of the DFW area. After that we usually end the night in the community pool to cool off.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This is an easy one for me! Everyone watches HGTV and sees how sexy it is to be a Real Estate Agent cool car,s fancy cloths, and people calling you non-stop that want you to sell your house….. that could not be farther from the truth in the beginning. When I was looking for a business to partner with, I knew I wanted a fellow veteran run company and also one that truly cared about my fellow veterans! So, I did what everyone does, and googled veteran owned real estate brokers and found Veterans Real Estate Partners owned and operated by Marlin Wilbur USMC Retired. So, I picked up the phone and gave him a call but didn’t know quite what to expect because he was a Marine. He invited for a cup of coffee later in the week to see if us working together would be a good fit and I accepted. During that cup of coffee, I realized I wanted to partner with him. Marlin was so passionate about real estate and specifically veterans in general it was amazing, Not only is Marlin a veteran like me but also loves real estate and above all else wants to help our fellow veterans. Since that cup of coffee, I have not looked back and Marlin has been there every step of the way taking my call and responding to the crazy texts that come from me just not having all the answer as a new Real Estate Agent. He always offering words of encouragement deals fail or I get my hopes up about a deal because being a real estate agent its nothing like what they show on HGTV its hard work that requires dedication and without someone like Marlin would even harder.
