We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremias Jimenez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremias, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking a risk is extremely important especially if the risk aligns with your end goals. My goal is to build a loyal fanbase while owning the masters to all of my work. By trying to do so I am taking a big risk because I will have to say no to tempting offers.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
After touring through 120 schools , winning BET’s Apollo, and completing the final project for his group “Fame or Juliet” Jeremias Jimenez has chosen to venture off as a producer, songwriter, and solo artist. His adventure began in Lynn MA, a small city outside of Boston and has landed him in the heart of GA. “I produce, write, and record all of my work. I create concept albums with substance. Each album has a different sound as well as a concept. My goal is to compete with the best of today’s artist Drake, Cole, Kendrick, and my greatest inspiration Kanye West”.

This road hasn’t been an easy one, I’ve put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into my career. I believe everything happens on GOD’s time and the toughest of tasks are given to his strongest soldiers. My music is authentic and real so I only expect the real to relate.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love food but to be honest I would bring people to this joint called “Bread Dreams” they legit got the best pastelitos i’ve ever had lol. Besides that I would’ve brought them to my studio because thats where I spent most of my time honestly. Nothing really crazy fun to visit. I mean there’s a few Hispanic bars that are cool.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to give a shout out to GOD because he blessed me with this talent and without him I’d be lost. Second I’d like to thank my mother who has supported me sense the moment I told her I wanted to pursue this career, Third I would like to thank artist like Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, JCole, and Drake that constantly raise the bar in the culture. Last but not least I’d like to thank everyone who supports me and follows me through their appreciation for my artwork.
