We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremiah Solomon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremiah, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
I’d say my most important principle is humility. I’ve found through experience that no matter the circumstance, there’s always time to be kind and humble. My line of work can get hectic and there’s a lot to juggle; but none of it would be possible without the love and kindness which has been shown to me by those who support my growth. I’m extremely blessed to have had this example set for me early on by my wonderful parents and other various role models.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My main ambition is to inspire growth in all aspects of life through any work I set my hands to. I’d have to say I’m most proud of myself for having the courage to pursue that feat despite my origins. My journey hasn’t always been an easy one. I lost my father, who was the spark of my love for music at the impressionable age of just 12 years old. For a time, the loss shattered my life in ways I can’t explain. However, I managed to turn the sting of grief into a burning fire of hope within me when I made the decision to begin producing and recording my own songs. Each song of mine, including my latest EP “Night Life” has been created entirely within the four walls of my bedroom. I’ve learned so much about myself and the world around me along the journey; and I’d like to encourage everyone to always seek the good in their situation. I too have had my bouts with adversity, but always remember that when you’ve hit your lowest points in life, there’s nowhere to go but up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I usually like to think of myself as a homebody, but when it comes to a night on the town, “Taqueria El Si Hay” is my go to for some of the best street tacos and elote In Dallas. Nearby, Klyde Warren Park provides an amazing atmosphere for enjoying nature and good music. If you couldn’t tell already, I love food and this park is home to numerous food trucks, with menu items ranging from savory snacks to mind blowing desserts. Lastly, Deep Ellum is one of my favorite places to visit. It’s always full of life and energy with plenty of lights and art making for some great photo ops, not to mention the live music ringing from nearby venues.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well, for starters I have to attribute my unthinkable success to God. I’ve had many doors opened in my life over the past year, far beyond my expectation. I’m lucky to have an amazing support group, comprised of family and friends. My mother has always been my personal cheerleader in all of my endeavors, never hesitating to motivate and inspire me, she’s a truly amazing woman. They always say, behind every success story is a great team. My best friend Sam, who aids as my photographer/videographer and I have formed one which works amazingly. I could go on all day expressing my gratitude and admiration for each and every individual who supports me and I’d lite to take this time to say thank you all!
