Meet JENNIFER VILLATORO

We had the good fortune of connecting with JENNIFER VILLATORO and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi JENNIFER, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Great question! While I don’t have personal experiences or habits, I can share the habits that successful people—especially in learning, problem-solving, and personal growth—tend to cultivate. These are also the principles I was designed around:
1. Consistent Curiosity**
Successful people constantly ask *why*, *how*, and *what if*. They maintain a habit of learning even when it’s uncomfortable or time-consuming.
**In practice:**
* Reading daily (books, articles, research)
* Asking deep questions
* Exploring topics outside their expertise
**2. Structured Thinking**
They break complex problems into manageable parts and tackle them methodically.
**In practice:**
* Using frameworks (e.g., first principles, SWOT)
* Writing things down to clarify thoughts
* Prioritizing issues before solving them
*3. Discipline & Routine**
They form habits that support their goals—even when motivation is low.
**In practice:**
* Scheduling time blocks for focused work
* Limiting distractions (e.g., phone, multitasking)
* Setting small, daily goals
4. Feedback-Seeking
They actively look for feedback to improve, not to be validated.
**In practice:**
* Asking others to critique their work
* Reviewing performance and learning from failure
* Keeping a journal or post-mortem log
5. Long-Term Focus**
They understand the compounding power of time—on skills, effort, and reputation.
**In practice:**
* Investing in deep skills, not just short-term hacks
* Thinking in 5–10 year outcomes
* Letting small wins build momentum

What should our readers know about your business?
I work in the auto repair industry, where my mission is to serve people with honesty, integrity, and excellence. But my purpose goes beyond fixing cars—it’s about restoring confidence, building trust, and supporting individuals and business owners in a way that empowers them to thrive.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on what’s under the hood—I care about what’s going on in people’s lives. I’ve seen firsthand how demanding and stressful this industry can be, and I’ve made it part of my calling to help others discover a work-life balance that includes peace, purpose, and Christ at the center.
On the side, I mentor and guide others—especially those in high-pressure careers—toward aligning their work with their values and faith. I believe success isn’t just about how much you accomplish, but how aligned your life is with what truly matters.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced burnout, uncertainty, and the challenge of maintaining balance myself. But through it all, I’ve leaned on faith, learned from experience, and committed to growing—not just professionally, but spiritually and personally.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that when we slow down, seek clarity, and put God first, everything else begins to fall into place. My goal is to share that insight with others, especially those who feel overwhelmed or stuck in survival mode.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s this: I’m here to serve—not only through reliable, professional service in the auto repair world, but also by helping others step into a fuller, more balanced life, grounded in Christ and led by purpose.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit, I wouldn’t just show them a good time—I’d give them an experience rooted in culture, community, and faith. I’m proud to be Salvi-Cruzian-Rican, and I bring that rich blend of El Salvador, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico into everything I do. Here’s what a week together would look like:
Day 1 – Welcome Home
We’d start with a home-cooked dinner—pupusas, mofongo, or saltfish and fungi, depending on the mood. I’d share stories about my roots while the music plays softly in the background—maybe a worship playlist or some Latin classics. This night is about slowing down, eating well, and connecting.
Day 2 – Culture + Coffee + Christ
We’d kick things off with strong coffee—café con leche or horchata—then explore a local market, art scene, or cultural center. I’d show them where heritage meets hustle. In the evening, we’d attend a Bible study—whether at church or in a small group. We’d dive into Scripture, share testimonies, and recharge our spirits.
Day 3 – Under the Hood + Heart Check
This would be our “automotive” day—visiting a car show, garage, or local shop. I’d share my passion for the industry and the people behind the tools. At night, we’d keep it chill—maybe grab tacos and reflect on the day. I might even share how God’s taught me lessons in the garage just as much as He has in church.
Day 4 – Faith Walk + Midweek Reset
We’d head out early for a peaceful nature walk, hike, or beach day—somewhere quiet where we can talk and connect with God. Later, we’d attend a midweek church service or prayer night. The kind that leaves you filled, refreshed, and reminded of your purpose.
Day 5 – Flavors + Fellowship
A full-on cultural food tour—arroz con gandules, tamales de elote, Cruzian johnnycakes—we’d hit up all the spots that feel like home. In the evening, we’d gather a few friends or family for food, music, games, and some lighthearted fun. We might even end with a group devotion or worship session to close out the night right.
Day 6 – A Mini Getaway with Purpose
Time for a road trip! We’d visit a nearby town, beach, or spiritual retreat center—somewhere scenic and meaningful. On the way, we’d talk about dreams, struggles, and how God has shown up in both. I’d make sure we journal, pray together, and really soak in the beauty of both creation and conversation.
Day 7 – Church + Celebration
We’d start the day at church—worshiping together, getting filled by the Word, and being part of a community. After service, brunch somewhere with island or Latin flavors. That evening, we’d cook at home and have a final moment of reflection—what we’ve learned, how God moved, and what’s next.
What makes my world special?
It’s a beautiful blend of cultures, values, and faith. I’m proud of my Salvi-Cruzian-Rican roots and even more proud to live a life led by Christ. Whether it’s in the kitchen, in the shop, or in the sanctuary—I carry that love, passion, and purpose everywhere I go.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I want to give all glory and thanks to God. Through every high and low, God has been my source of strength, guidance, and grace. My faith has carried me through moments when I didn’t see the way forward—and I know I wouldn’t be here without His presence in my life.
I also want to dedicate this shoutout to my mom—the most selfless, loving, and resilient woman I know. Her sacrifices, encouragement, and unwavering belief in me have shaped the person I am today. She’s been my role model, my comforter, and my greatest supporter.
To my family, thank you for your endless love, patience, and support. You’ve been with me through every chapter—cheering me on, lifting me up, and reminding me of who I am when I forget.
This success isn’t mine alone—it belongs to all of you. I’m deeply grateful.
