Meet Jenna Carter | Chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
While in chiropractic school, I spent a lot of time shadowing local practices to understand different approaches to patient care. Through that experience, I quickly realized that, to truly fulfill my vision of how I wanted to practice, I was going to have to create it myself. I didn’t just want to offer chiropractic care—I wanted to build a space that reflected my values, where patients felt truly seen, heard, and cared for in a warm, faith-centered environment.
With that realization, I began planning and casting my vision while I was still in school. I knew that if I wanted to step into business ownership right away, I had to be intentional about laying the groundwork early. From refining my mission to researching locations and learning the logistics of running a business, I used that time to prepare so that when I graduated, I could hit the ground running.
Starting my own practice wasn’t just about entrepreneurship—it was about creating a space where I could serve my community in the way I felt called to. That mindset gave me the confidence to take the leap, and I haven’t looked back since.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My practice, The Chiro Co., provides nervous system-based chiropractic care and acupuncture, with a special focus on pediatric, prenatal, and family wellness. I believe that when the body is aligned, people can live with more energy, ease, and joy. But beyond just adjustments, my practice is about restoring connection—within the body, within families, and within the community.
At The Chiro Co., my mission is simple yet powerful: to help individuals and families reach their God-given potential by restoring balance and natural healing. What sets my practice apart isn’t just the care I provide, but the atmosphere I’ve intentionally created. I wanted The Chiro Co. to feel warm, welcoming, and faith-centered—a space where people feel at home the moment they walk in the door. Healing isn’t just physical; it’s emotional and spiritual too, and I believe that when people feel safe, seen, and supported, their healing is amplified.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has been worth it. Starting my own practice required stepping out of my comfort zone in a big way. There were moments of uncertainty, but I never let doubt dictate my decisions. I surrounded myself with the right people—my husband, my church and life group, and a strong support system who encouraged me and reminded me of my purpose. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that discomfort is often a sign of growth. When things felt overwhelming, I leaned into my faith and trusted that I was being led exactly where I needed to be.
Above all, I am most proud of the community that has formed within The Chiro Co. Every person who walks through my doors is more than just a patient—they are part of a family. My greatest joy is seeing families thrive, kids grow healthier, and moms feel more supported throughout pregnancy and beyond. This practice isn’t just a business to me; it’s a calling, and I am beyond grateful to live it out every day.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about The Chiro Co., it’s that we are here to serve. My heart is in this work, and my mission is to help people experience life to its fullest, the way God intended.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d want to show them everything I love about Grapevine!
Day 1: Exploring Grapevine’s Main Street
We’d start the day with a coffee from Re:defined Coffee House, my go-to spot for a great cup of coffee and a cozy atmosphere. Then, we’d stroll down Historic Main Street, stopping at the charming boutiques and shops. Lunch would be at one of the cafés along Main, like Main Street Bistro. In the evening, we’d have dinner at Cafe Italia, my favorite hidden gem for delicious Italian food.
Day 2: Outdoor Adventure at Grapevine Lake
We’d start with a morning walk on the Grapevine Lake trails or rent kayaks to explore the lake from the water. After working up an appetite, we’d grab lunch at Mi Dia from Scratch, a local favorite for Tex-Mex and margaritas. The afternoon would be perfect for a visit to Nash Farm, where we could experience a little bit of Grapevine’s history.
Day 3: Winery & Relaxation
Grapevine is known for its wineries, so we’d spend the day wine tasting at Messina Hof and Bingham Family Vineyards. For lunch, we’d head to Dino’s for delicious food in an upscale but relaxed setting. We’d end the day with a chiropractic adjustment at my office, The Chiro Co. for some much-needed relaxation.
Day 4: Family Fun & Local Attractions
We’d check out the aquarium at Grapevine Mills. The evening would be spent at Harvest Hall, a food hall with a variety of dining options and live music. Ice cream to finish off the night at Handel’s.
Day 5: Dallas/Fort Worth Day Trip
Since Grapevine is perfectly located between Dallas and Fort Worth, we’d take a day to explore one of the cities. If we chose Fort Worth, we’d visit the Stockyards for rodeo action, shopping, and BBQ at Heim. If we picked Dallas, we’d check out the Dallas Farmers Market, then grab dinner at Pecan Lodge for some of the best BBQ in Texas.
Day 6: Christmas in Grapevine
If it’s the holiday season, we’d definitely check out why Grapevine is known as the Christmas Capital of Texas! The city transforms into a winter wonderland with lights, holiday shows, and festive events. We’d take a stroll through Main Street, which is beautifully decorated, and visit Grapevine’s Christmas Market for some holiday shopping.
Day 7: Brunch & Farewell
Before saying goodbye, we’d have a final brunch at Old West Cafe. A slow morning reminiscing about the week would be the perfect way to wrap up an amazing visit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my husband for being my biggest supporter in making this dream a reality. From the very beginning, he pushed me to open my own practice, fully backed my vision, and never once questioned it. He has not only led our household but has also spent countless hours behind a computer, helping me build and refine the backend of my practice. His support, both seen and unseen, has been instrumental in allowing me to serve my community the way I feel called to, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
I also want to acknowledge the incredible support from our church and life group. They have prayed over this journey, encouraged me through every challenge, and reminded me to trust in God’s plan. Having such a strong faith-centered community behind me has made all the difference, and I’m beyond blessed to have them walking alongside me in this journey.
