We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazzmin Clarke & Vanice Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazzmin & Vanice, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
J&V Dream Creations is more than a creative career for the both of us. This has truly become a passion and creative outlet. Through creative expression, we release stress, anxiety, and focus on our inner peace. We find different things on Pinterest and instantly get fascinated with making more projects. We both have so many different ideas and were doing small be businesses individually, that after just one year we both decided to collaborate. We have a question we’re always asking, “What’re you dreaming of?”. We want to make sure we see the vision of our customer displayed in every project. Creating is our passion and we want to make sure each customer feels this.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Dream Creations specializes in unique gift baskets, personalized cups, and all types of cute tees! We are known for hand making and creating custom gift baskets from scratch you dream to have! We believe creating something you (the customer) envisions sets us apart from others. Our journey has definitely not been the easiest. From building a website to gaining a follower on social media it has been a very bumpy road. Fortunately for us, we understand that maintaining our faith in God, our goals will always be inevitable! We’re excited about following our dreams, fulfilling our passion, and building everlasting relationships. This is only the beginning and we pray to never lose sight of the vision.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We both love seafood so most likely to Red Claws in Dallas. Also maybe Downtown Dallas, Stockyards, Sundance Square and the Water Gardens in Fort Worth for the vibes. We love the scenery of all these places and just love to have a good time!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would love to give a special shout-out to Brianna Woods! She has been a really great friend through this process and has really spread our name and business to almost everyone she knows.
