We had the good fortune of connecting with Jada Bates and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jada, what do you attribute your success to?
I have two beautiful children who motivate and inspire me everyday. They are the reason behind my brand . I made my brand because of them. My daughter models all my clothes and even help me pick out outfits. They are definitely a big factor behind the push and success of my brand.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without God. It took a lot of faith for me to believe in myself and start my brand . I’ve learned many lessons during this process. Everything does not happen over night. A lot of thing takes growth. There are going to be times when business is doing great and times when it’s not doing so well. ITS ALL APART OF THE PROCESS. I’m just happy to be able to be apart of the reason that a little girl feels beautiful. I love seeing the smiles on their face when they are wearing my brand . It’s makes it all worth it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A perfect week with my best friend would be us going out to brunch, arcades, hanging out downtown , getting some drinks and hitting up one of the best spas. One of my favorite brunch place is Ellen’s. We would definitely go there. Andretti’s is a go karting and arcade place that I’d take my best friend . We’d stop at the bar to get a few drinks , hit up six flags and ride every ride there. We’d go to the spa later in the week to relax our bodies.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to recognize my kids and their father (Gino) . They play a big part in my story. They never allow me to give up . Gino has invested in my brand and was there pushing me , even when I didn’t believe in myself. The times I want to quit, they are always there to lift my spirits and tell me I can do it .
