We had the good fortune of connecting with J Warrer “ARTOFWARRER” and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi J Warrer, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I have always been involved with art & music my whole life whether it be drawing, painting, writing or recording more so as a hobby and I knew I had more than a dream on my hands after the great reviews. Sheer determination and a ton of patience learning the marketing/business side after that.
But, all in all, I’d rather fail than to never try.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a self-taught artist & music producer I have grown to enjoy the entire process of creating literally anything. To act on an idea and watch it become what you envision is an amazing feeling. As a small city boy where most dreams remain so, opportunities in art or music are far and few between. Being an independent anything is the way to go. And as a go getter, I knew I would have to become an entrepreneur learning the ins and outs of business and marketing to even begin.
Having a beautiful wife and 6 children to raise, I prioritized running a roofing company to be stable and put “dreams” to the side. Still honing skills but not active in any art or music communities. Over the last few years I have been able to pursue art once again and found painting to be my newest form of expression and I have enjoyed producing acrylic works eversince. This new love of art has encouraged me to open a studio and re-establish myself as a charcoal, acrylic and musical artist. Moral of the story…Never quit!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Im currently from Greenville, SC. With mountains, lakes, trails, and parks everywhere…we could easily spend a week checking them all out and all the little side spots along the way. The downtown area of GVL itself is super clean and full of beautiful statues, art & scenery. The shopping and food in downtown along main street offer a variety of flavors. Too many great places to name in my opinion….just go out and adventure. You won’t lose

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to my wife & kids, all my family & friends who’ve encouraged me to be successful. I do this to show you all a better way and the possibility of true freedom to be you! Shoutout to all of Sandusky Ohio!
