We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Scroggins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaiah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
For me the biggest thing is time and patience that I had to learn over the years. In my early years on becoming a creative and getting into photography, it was hard at first to give myself patience and knowledge, I needed to truly understand the “why’ on what I want to pursue in this field. Another factor that plays into my success is discipline. Having discipline of your own self and with others. Being able to always want that constant knowledge of others and always wanting to grow. Lastly is never to rush with time. As long as you doing what you got to do and grinding in this life, that time will come to you. Never force anything time, patience, knowledge, its already there if you want it bad enough.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So i’m a Photography, and Model first, pretty much do them both simultaneously. When it comes to those I always like to tell a story with them. Most of my work is based off of music, movies & other forms of art as. Fill like thats what sets me apart from others is that factor. I really love getting influence by it and inspired by those other mediums of art cause I got passions for those as well. Being constantly motivated and inspired is what really kept me doing what I love to do with Photography and Modeling. That need to always being consistent and evolving with your art too. I say that it was easy to do so, because I want this more than anything and will strive for it. Now was it a process, trial and error, and hours of work, yes thats what comes with it. I say one lesson I learned is making sure you work on, sticking true to yourself, and never focus so having on other creatives art. Always showcase what makes you, you and “why” and “what” your reason is on doing this.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In the DFW, there’s very much to do here and multiple cities within to do a lot. Brunch would be first there’s a vast number of breakfast/brunch spots in Dallas alone, such as “Yolk’ & “Snooze”. Far as eating goes for sure the Hood spots in Oak Cliff or Pleasant Grove, have the best authentic local food spots. Entertainment wise, there’s the bars in Deep Ellum, Oak Lawn & Bishop arts. Plenty of bowling alleys, Skating rings and museums as well to go too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To one of my favorite DJ’s of all time, my brother Saucy D, is definitely deserving, goes all in every time on his sets and as a friend. Is always a blessing to be with and truly down to earth and always great energy.
