We had the good fortune of connecting with Ieashe Deal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ieashe, how do you think about risk?
I feel as though I am a risk taker, I have faced many challenges in life starting a business being one of them. I failed a couple of times before I was able to get a couple of things right, but if it was not for those risks whether they were good or bad I would not be here today. Taking risks has taught me that it is nothing to it but to do it. At the beginning of starting my business I did not want to take risks at all because I failed a couple of time at the beginning, but I had a great support system that said otherwise. I began at it again and kept taking more risks and will continue to do so.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been working since I was 15 years old and have not stopped. I have worked in different occupations such as customer service, fast food, collections even technical support. All these jobs have taught me so much and provided me with education in regards to money management, customer service and even how to handle escalated situations. Some days are better than others but I just take it day by day. There are many lessons that I have learned along the way, but one thing that stuck out to me the most was most people are not mad at you, but at the situation so do not allow them to discourage you. I would like people to know the journey is not always easy, but with God and the right support anything is possible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I really do not have any famous spots in the city if anything we would probably be googling some things to do. We may go to Sandbox and enjoy some virtual games, find some good seafood and maybe go hangout at a sushi bar and most likely go downtown and take one of the tours that they have to offer.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I would like to thank God because none of this would be possible without him. I would also like to shoutout my significant other and mother for their ongoing support from the beginning. I also have other family members and friends that have supported my business whether they bought something or just shared a post or two. And most importantly to my dad that I lost in 07 thank you my business name came from something he used to always tell me growing up. No More Daddiez Little Girl (NMDLG) Kreationz thanks everyone for the love and support.
